Combine this with the MiningCo alert speaker, Red Alert lights (though that one might be kinda buggy) and one of the fog of war mods and you've got yourself a scary night ahead of yourself that could end at any time.

Maybe especially good for Anomaly / Zombie stuff.

So this adds silent raids as 1 of the potential options, whereas the patched version of the mod applies it to all vanilla raids, am I understanding it correctly?

Try this experiment patch for rim war. I patch in the raid incident def a lower chance of spawning.

Spawning EnemyRaid in devmod with Rim War still works, maybe Rim War has some specific raid types or something?

Try moving the mod to the bottom of the mod list. So it gets loaded last.

So heads up that this patch does something to error out QuestNode_Raid (aka "I'm being chase, accept me and then fight them off").

Basically the person will show up, and the raid part never happens. Though I can devmode a raid with the listed specs just fine.

hmm well... you asked for it!

- vanilla "wander in" events like wild man and thrumbo and traders and visitors and passersby and also ambrosia sprout
- Vanilla Events Expanded similar events such as caravan/battle animals wander in, wild tribe wanders in, hunting party, crop sprout etc.
- Chemshined Muffalos from Vanilla Factions Expanded - Settlers
- various events from Vanilla Factions Expanded - Insectoids
- slaver and pillager raids from Vanilla Factions Expanded - Vikings
- relevant Alpha Animals events such as Black Hive raids

... I could keep going but I think it better I keep the list, uh, short. xD

hauvega this really does synergize quite well with Real Fog of War. Thank you for that.

If you ever expanded it into compatibility with other popular mods' events, I wouldn't complain!

I'm about to try this alongside both Real Fog of War AND Pre-emptive Strike (forked) at the same time, so we'll see... :thinking:

if you got a log file that will be helpful. I only patch in the custom worker class in the incident defs. I have 2 incident defs that has its own worker class.
