Hi there, for whatever reason my game crashes whenever trying to load this mod with "load scenario".

GM, I recently subscribed to your mod and for some reason it doesn't show up neither in my game files nor the game itself when i enter then modpage. is there something i'm not doing right?

That is odd. It is possible that there is a conflict between my mod and another that you have active. Try starting up a game with just my mod. If it works then you know there is a conflict.

Okay so I have the Polynesian Expansion but why isnt it allowing me to play as Atlantis in single player? I have subscribed and everything so how do I get your mod to work?

I think you make some good points.

As for this:

I have not played with this mod in awhile, so I can't remember this happening. It is not intentional. I can guess why this is happening, but if I am right it will not be a quick fix.

At any rate I don't plan to make further changes to the mod or any new mods for civ 5. However, I may make a few for civ 6, so thanks again for the feedback as this will help me if I decide to make mods for civ 6.

I have recently played with this mod ( the Atlantian civilization) and think you did a great job. Having early sea dominance with the unique ability and the Atlantian Trireme is really nice. It is interesting though that one's cargo ships cannot cross oceans (deep water) until one reasearches astronomy; I do not know whether this is intended or not. A minor flaw may be that Temple of Poseidon: While the gold (+2 and +5%) and science (+5%) it gives more than the normal temple must be good (my brain tells me), it feels kind of unrewarding to built unless I want to have a temple anyways as it does not yield much of any single thing. I think that it would be better to just make it an all-in science building (costs maintenance, +10% science), so it is clear what you want to build it for instead of an overall small stat boost. Nonetheless, thank you for the mod.

@ Mahogany T. Jones we are doing a giant multiplayer modpack but he got impatient and bought polyneisa and now it works flawlessly so I guess this mod does also require polynesia since polynesia has the embarking ability.

It is possible that there is a polynesia dependency but I doubt it. Are there any other mods in use?

Hey you need Polynesia in order for this mod to run correctly? my friend does not have polynesia and his game freaks out and everytime he tries to embark and his game crashes. so is it Polynesia or another problem?

This is like a nerf'd Polynesia - Germany mix. Polynesia has a promotion that stays with their units and Moai which are crazy culture makers. Germany has their UA which encourages a big army, and lets them have a big army early on. Hanse gives them the production to build a bunch of panzers, or you could have saved your early army and upgraded them into Panzers. I'd suggest making either a swarm unit ( 1 production required, medium strength ) or an elite unit that replaces Warriors and gives Atlantis a powerful early-game domination, with gold to maintain army, science to offset city science costs and the UA to transport their super units across the globe.

hmm... yep

not many civs can go wide effectively so I like that this mixes it up. I do think it is balanced though, simply because the other unique aspects are not that significant.

That's understandable. I can't really imagine creating 3D models for a game. It's still nice to be able to play as Atlantis, so thanks anyway.

I would like to do that, but I dont have the artistic ability. I have put it out there several times that if any has some artwork that they made or found that is better, then I would use it but no one has given me any suggestions. perhaps you could find something better.

Did you click the load scenario button after selecting the map: Atlantis TS? If you do there should only be 12 civs (If I remember right) to choose from and one should Atlantis. Select Atlantis and you should be ok.

I just started a game with the Atlantis TS map as Atlantis, and had no trouble producing the Atlantian triremes. I am not sure what could be happening. You might try deleting the mod and reinstalling it, but other than that I don't know.

thats weird. I was able to produce Atlantian Triremes before I posted the mod, but will see if I can them them or not now that it is up. It will be late tonight before I can take a look though. In the meantime are you using any mods that could conflict?

Nice mod, just wanted to let you know it doesnt show up if you search 'atlantis' on the workshop. I don't know why.
