The only con I can believe i found is the flipping when moving down. Dont know why it does that, but I can live with that. Also sometimes the lases sensor dosent work and it hits a wall but that is rare so
9.5/10, best vehicle at a great price
so im trying to make " Veronica " from iron man so i need a compact way to let it be in the sky and launch gps missiles equipped with radar missiles for ground target and if possible air targets too, and the person would be able to set target from a small compact car equipped with the monitor and gps location.
@Pumped sorry about the wheel glitch, it was made in the early days before the wheel glitch was widely used so servers didn't have rules against it. I have made a non-glitch starter vehicle here:https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2500067165
@RealityChip I think it has to do with physics detail level in the settings, but I am not totally sure. In any case I recommend using the craft in my reply to Pumped as that one has no glitch and has more features
@Shadow this guy is pretty old so unfortunately I am not gonna update it, an antenna with composite hooked into the flight control microcontroller could do acomplish the remote control feature.
flozo the example for how this is built is in one of the links.
There actually is a cargo carrier that flies like this, made by somoen else ;)
Also, there should be a "Horizontal Thrust Ratio" output in the autopilot micocontroller that is near the middle under the beds, put a clamp on this one would only reduce the autopilot speed.
@mcHAMR the propulsion can get destroyed in singleplayer from lightning strikes if it flies through the highest grade rainstorms, or due to multiplayer lag.
Evasive autopilot n'all, damn fine job.
Knowing this would help me pinpoint the problem. Also if you upload your modified version I'll take a look and see if I can fix it.
@Chickenyed, not sure what is happening. Did you press the arrow buttons on the instrument panel to turn on the engines? I just did a test: https://youtu.be/ZRcZknQXbso
