@persona - Why? Several GoT mods have existed. Warband, CK2, Skyrim, Civ 5, TW Atilla etc to name a few. Maybe they realise things that add interest to the brand are useful. Especially given the quality of some of these, the CK2 mod was outstanding and really should be developed as a game.

@persona non grata As far as I know, mods, which are by definition free content and created by individuals with a non lucrative objective are viewed by authors and right holders are essentially fan art. I doubt they'd view this as an issue, otherwise, they'd have taken down Mount and Blade Warband "A World of Ice And Fire" and "A Clash of Kings" down a long time ago. Those are both well known mods, with the second being in the top 5 mods of ModDB for over 2 years. That means on the front page. Mods have rarely ever been litigated against by anyone. They only raise issues when the mod creators try to make money from them, which is extremely rare.

My final goal is to fully reproduce Westeros, Essos and Sorhorios, to create a system of war and claim, to redo the system of apprenticeship of construction by trades (blacksmith, weaver, builder, alchemist ...) and to add again object like Valyrian weapon and armor, Greek fire as well as several coins like the golden dragon and many other encort .. currently I am working on module 1 which includes: Northern Kingdom, the wall, beyond the Wall.
