Captain Feb 23, 2016 @ 10:39am
I've actually srewed around with the Override materials a bit and solved it. Really good models, they'll look awesome on my poster.
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 23, 2016 @ 9:38am
Sorry, I DID use phong in the mats... YOu can turn that off, or turn down the phong boost in the materials as well. (It's been a while since I looked at these) You should find the materials in you game\workshop\materials\models\teaset folder.
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 23, 2016 @ 9:34am
There is a quadratic attenuation setting on the light, you can use that to dull down the light as well.
Captain Feb 23, 2016 @ 7:58am
I have no lights there, it looks like the map itself is too bright and that makes the model shine. Turning the toneMapScale down makes everything darker, I'd need to use lights and that would make them shine again.
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 23, 2016 @ 7:54am
Adjust your light intensity... These are using standard or base material settings
Captain Feb 23, 2016 @ 7:52am
Hi, I tried to put them in the SFM and the models are just way too bright. Is there a way to make them darker?

Hello Pte Jack, using you useful models I made this short little video http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=291750177 along with a poster http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=291248680 , both containing and showcasing you models, I was wondering if maybe you would like to have them inorder to advertise these models, maybe? c:
Pte Jack  [author] Jul 21, 2014 @ 5:11pm
Doh, it was the saucers everyone was complaining tht weren't there...
Alsari Jul 21, 2014 @ 2:11am
Awesome work :D
But it's a little sad that there are no spoons. Thanks for this set anyway :3
Pte Jack  [author] May 4, 2014 @ 12:19pm
You can use the Doc Ock Rokc Paint Script, or use material overrides.
Nopalito May 3, 2014 @ 6:30pm

Shameh Apr 17, 2014 @ 3:06pm

These mugs and cups are wonderful!! Thank you for creating and sharing them!
(the medic mugs are hilarious wish i have them in my hands^^ :medicon: )
Casroder Feb 13, 2014 @ 6:54pm
I don't know I just love all mugs XD
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 13, 2014 @ 6:40pm
Which one? there are 19 mugs and 10 cups, a red, a blue and a white mug, and 9 class and a white tea cup. Now add the fact that the mugs are paintable, it make the mugs almost unlimited.
Casroder Feb 13, 2014 @ 5:03pm
I want that cups in real life ;(
Sausage Mahoney Feb 12, 2014 @ 6:43am
Whatever you think would work best; man. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 11, 2014 @ 11:34pm
In fact, for some reason the cups look as if they have been reduced somehow, they were as small as they seem to be when I compiled the model. If you put a scale slider on a cup and scale it up to around .16 (point 16) that is what the cups were suppose to be.
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 11, 2014 @ 11:31pm
Yes, I saw that too. I've got the file open now infact and I'm actually thinking about scapiing this model and replacing it completely. I'm almost finished with the update. What does everyone think???
Sausage Mahoney Feb 11, 2014 @ 9:49pm
I'm not sure what happened, but when I opened up the file in the game, all the objects were scattered about randomly around the tray, with some of the objects' bones far away from their respective cups, making proper posing extremely difficult.

Also, do you think you could make a version without the pictures, just a plain white tea set?
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 9, 2014 @ 10:53pm
You know, China is expensive and if I separate the Cups from the Tray, they'll get lost. Besides, when I purchased this set, the saucers weren't included... They were an additional $350 bucks, PLUS another $200 for the mugs! Read the addendum to the description about Mugs and Saucers and the future plans for this model(s)!!
MARK2580 Feb 9, 2014 @ 9:01pm
Do please separate models and saucers, was very disappointed when I saw that this is all one model with bones. :rshocked:
Mr. Mariobun Feb 9, 2014 @ 7:18pm
Its tea time Doctor!
Chrodon Feb 9, 2014 @ 12:07pm

Pyroburner Feb 9, 2014 @ 12:26am
They should add it to valve store
Zappy Feb 9, 2014 @ 12:04am
@Pte Jack
In that case, alrighty then. You decide what you do with your stuff, I was just asking. :3
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 9, 2014 @ 12:01am
Yup, but that wasn't what I wanted for this model
Zappy Feb 9, 2014 @ 12:00am
You do realize 1 workshop thingie can include more than 1 model, right?
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 8, 2014 @ 9:04pm
There we go, each body group (cups, tray, pots and lids) can now be turned on or off (visible or invisible)
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 8, 2014 @ 8:44pm
Dag, this was a work in progress, I hadn't got there... hang on, I might be able to update it in a bit.
Pte Jack  [author] Feb 8, 2014 @ 8:42pm
Yes, they are all tied to the tray. I'm trying to remember if ai allowed each to be turned on or off if required... BRB
Nefnoj Feb 8, 2014 @ 8:04pm
This is perfect.

I noticed in the "includes" list, it's just one model, I'm assuming each individual teacup is move-able?
