Has anyone actually tried this and confirmed it does not work, and how/why it does not work specifically? I realize the mod does not have 1.5 tag but I would imagine the 1.5 patch did not change much as far as a storyteller is concerned?

i cannot understand why they dont update to 1.5, even Winston waves a storyteller with much bugs and no new rewards or compatibility for the new mods in the VE collection was updated but igor not :C

No, Voltaire. There is 2 igor invaders, this is the standalone (i believe), the other is apart of the mechanoids faction. That gives you the pre-raid notifications.

Not seeing any kind of pre-raid notifications that I swear I used to get playing, is this issue unique to me or are others seeing this?

You are correct, but fortunately it only hampers when you load the game intially, not when you save and load mid game.

But doesn't Cherry picker still allow everything else to load first and hamper loading time before disabling it? Correct me if I'm wrong.

'want' is a funny word. Just because you 'want' something doesn't mean someone should provide it. That's called entitlement. You can either update the mod yourself for personal use, or use Vanilla Factions Expanded - Mechanoids and use Cherry picker to disable most of that mod.

Hello is there a possibility that raids don't happen if there are no factions with "low gear" score?
I am currently playing in a world with no tribals and have no raids so far (12) days in and I wonder since many early raids in previous playthroughs were specifically 1-2 tribals.

10/10 story teller, even at tribal start or naked brutality. losing colonists left and right, most due to hungry predators tho...

Also When you are taking big map 325x325 or 300x300 the raids gets buggy, both in placements and not showing up at all.

I RECOMEND TO PLAY ON MEDIUM MAP TO GET RAIDS!!! Until it gets fixed, ty for your storyteller

This mod is broken, storyteller stops sending raids and it still hasnt been fixed for a while.

Big sad -- Also no raids. Love this storyteller. Unfortunately winston waves after wave 15 starts taking 10-20-30 mins to generate a new wave. Probably has to due with the fact i have 550 mods and combat extended but maybe i need to just add a game scenario to get raided. I will try some different things.

To People who want to get Raided with one Colonist
Go into your mod folder, search for the folder 2249879548, open it, open the Defs folder, go into the StorytellerDefs Folder, open Storytellers.xml, search for disableThreatsAtPopulationCount and change it from 1 to 0. Same for Vanilla Expanded Machanoids but the first folder should be 2329011599 and the Defs folder is inside the 1.2 folder.

raids stopped coming randomly, red error says something about vanilla psycasts expanded. not sure what to make of it but any guidance would be appricated!

What list of VE mods should I use to make this as best experience as possible?
I am only using Furniture - Security for re-usable bear trap for now because otherwise it's pretty crazy

another note if you only have one colonist, you won't get raided. I've been scrambling around for like 20 minutes to only make this discovery.

Installing a TACS from Dubs Rimatomics creates an infinite loop of the TACS giving a warning, and one that warning expires, Igor gives an upcoming raid notification, which is what the TACS was warning. Once Igor's "raid" arrives, it's just another TACS warning. It's an infinite cycle that generates no raids.

Make sure to keep it in, I love dumb exploits that let me disable raids entirely from the combination of two simple mods!

I’m removing comments that report bugs but have no error logs.

Remember: no raids can happen for a variety of reasons, one of them could be that some faction mod fucked it up

@lechkingofdead Spontaneous deaths happen when your pawn's consciousness level hits zero or a vital body part reaches zero hit points. So for your infection it might have grown from minor to major, increasing the pain, and the pawn which was already very seriously damaged I assume just couldn't whistand it. I'm not sure if it's vanilla or from mods but I do know it started happening to me when modding heavily (it happens often when infections or blood loss increase on a very damaged pawn, drugs are a good workaround while they heal up)
