Kind of a long shot, but any chance we could get some deployable versions of the smaller UGVs that go directly into your inventory, similar to the "Multipe Drones in Inventory" mod? I love this mod and I'd like to try out the idea of a "UGV Operator" loadout that positions 2 or 3 UGVs for perimeter defense, but I'd like to be able to setup the loadout completely in the virtual arsenal to make it compatible with something like Dynamic Recon Ops, where you have to select your loadout at the beginning before being spawned in. That way I could start the mission and just deploy the UGVs for the duration of the whole mission, since obviously they'd be too heavy to realistically carry for extended periods of time, especially multiple of them! Anyways, this mod is great and keep up the good work.

Make sure you INCLUDE crew in the vehicle. There is an option in the editor to start with or WITHOUT crew inside the drone.

mod doesn't work. can't get drones to connect at all. tried all 6 terminals. It absolutely will not initiate.

Does anyone know the class name for the M240 attached to the MAARS UGV? I am attempting to add another weapons system to it and remove the original weapon, but I need the class name to do this and I cannot find it anywhere.

hi ty for your awsome mod. we have a problem with 2 models of your ugvs. for example when you spawn maars everything is ok but for me ugv is above the surface a little . u can chek these screenshots . this problem is for maars m-240 (not aa-12) and Adunok-M in PKT . can u fix this plz? we want to add this mod to our clan but this problem is annoying .

sorry man it wasn't CBA... not sure now... I ended up fixing it.. had so much going on didn't see exactly what I did... but I put in some kind of ammo joint thing and it fixed it.. I have many mods in.. so I'm sure it was just one that was messing with my head....lol .. sorry for the confusion on my end... .

There are no CBA dependencies so I'll have to look at that more closely...

OK tried to start my mission that has been hours in the making.. and BAM says NEEDS COMMUNITY BASE ADDONS -JOINT AMMO MAGAZINES..... WTF is this? in the description is says NO DEPENDENCIES !!!! Your mod is the ONLY thing I added....

2. I do have a question regarding employment, is it possible to have the SUGV staged in a backpack like the Peltor?

That behavior is an issue with all remote vehicles, not just these.

Bug report:sometimes if the UGV died when player directly control it via UAV terminal, the player will stuck in the terminal interface and can not quit it, the only way to fix it is quit the server and re-join.

I encountered a little problem with the MAARS.
The Drone often can get stuck or cant climb on things like sidewalks, stairs, little stones and other elevated things that graphically should be possible.
Can replicate the problem easy on little street sidewalks, either it only can climb half way up and than stops or when i get unlucky the drone stuck entirely.
The smaller vanilla drone ED-1 from Contact dlc seems to have no problems with climbing such things.
Maybe you can find time to look into this problem.

Reload times are long because I added 2x magazines to eliminate need to "instantly" reload once the ammo is empty. I keep getting asked for this so it seems obvious no one would really use them in game that way, so I will see about removing the "extra" ammo and making them normal reload times. That will let people rearm them normally (ammo trucks etc).

big fan of your work Pookie pook , a few months ago, our group was discussing how we wanted a UGV that only carries gear with no weapons on it. Is there a way to bring a UGV stomper into this pack with big storage for ammo food water, meds tool kits static weapon bags, and everything else necessary. big storage pls. THANKS POOK , even if you dont accept my challenge.

Yeah that turret control window is what I'm focused on. The gunner position can shoot however even though you cannot see that window in the UAV control screen. Stay tuned...

I now tried it for myself, i only changed "commanding = -1;" to "commanding = 1;", under "pook_MAARS_Base" / "MainTurret", there is only one "commanding" in the entire textfile.
Then i spawned a uav operator with drone, connected it and go to the turret control.
With the change iam able to drive the drone with the turret control.

Whats not working is the turret control window in the uav terminal, i dont know why right now.

Unfortunately "commanding" didn't work. I'm going to review the config vs. the vanilla UGV config to see if I can find any clues there.

I took a brief look into your config.
In the Turret Config you wrote "commanding = -1;", change the -1 into a 1 and the controls should work i think.

I have no explanation why they don't sync up both driver+gunner at the same time. If anyone has any idea why this happens I'll be glad to add that!

Noted on the dirt bullet effects... I'll update them soon.

NOTE on reload times - reloads are not really "realistic" since you won't see a robot reload itself :) I added extra mags to enable more versatile usage in missions etc. This is why the mag reloads are 10 minutes...
