I like doing no-research runs and only getting my tech unlocked by reading schematic books. When I use this mod, it locks devilstrand behind research, and then it does not generate books for it.

I have completed all the way up to starship research, but can't plant devilstrand because the game will not generate books on it.

I have other mods that add new research projects, and I get books on those subjects, so I think it should be an easy fix.

Can we have a patch to use more vanilla extended crops too?

So if you do the right research you can plant anything in these (besides the trees) I am asking because I use a few modded plant mods like Vanilla Plants Expanded and I would love to be able to grow them and Devilstrand in.

It seems confusing that this mod uses the same name as Advanced Hydroponics , especially since these two mods do very, very different things. And because they do different things, I could easily see some players using both mods. Imagine trying to use both mods, but looking at your mod list in confusion because you see what appears to be the same mod listed twice... It would be even more confusing for players using both mods to try to figure out an error log if "Advanced Hydroponics" was mentioned.

Just saying: It would be nice if, either, this mod was named "Ogre's Advanced Hydroponics" or the other mod was renamed to "Stolij's Advanced Hydroponics".

I hope this mod can be compatible with Dubs Hygiene's hydroponics. I like the setting that hydroponics needs water.

Note for future users: Disables the Dubs Hygiene patch for hydroponics but otherwise works as intended had you turned the patch off.

After loading I lock up in about 3-4 seconds. removed mod and games works fine. Any Ideas? Only other mod is multiplayer.

The research tab for this appears over auto doors and obfuscates it. Is there a file I can edit to move it to a better spot?

@Moxie: To ignore the new content from Biotech seems like its outside the scope of what this mod was for. You can still grow regular crops in polluted maps. You can clean the soil with the pump. Or you can just specify the area underneath the hydroponics bays as 'pollution removal area' in the Zone menu. And your pawns will clean up the pollution like just like they do when it snows in the 'snow removal zone'.

Hey, I thought I might bring this thought up to you since you might be able to help but: In Biotech, polluted terrain prevents hydroponics from growing normal crops, restricting the trays to only toxipotatoes or psychoid. Would you be willing and able to look into a way to make hydroponics work on polluted terrain as normal?

Will this work on modded hydroponics bays? Like tilable hydroponics, or VFE-Farming's artificial ecosystems?

This allows for more types of plants to be grown in the base game hydroponics bays. It does not alter the bays themselves in any way.

This mod not adds any hydroponic bays it modifies the vanilla one.

What are the dimensions of the new hydroponics bay? Since it'll fit more plants, I'm guessing it will be bigger? Some screenshots will go a long way.
