Thats really impressive and keep going with that level of detail it's awesome that you do. I try my best as well to read about operations and try to replicate as best as I can. Not so much in the gear area but on a higher/summarized level. It's easier to make missions to when you read and you get all the inspiration for missions for free. Mix of historical but playable. Have not read sand and steel, will look into it. And if you got questions about the editor just let me know and I will help with what I can.

thanks man I really appreciate it and I hope you do make a campaign for normandy. if it makes it easier I've used alive to make the OP Overlord divisions which Ive based on Sand and steel a thousand page history normandy from d-day to breakout. so far I have 29th ID 1st ID reconfigured loadouts for the 4th ID both landing craft gear and post landing gear. 101st and 82nd reconfigured to match normandy operations better. as far as germans go im working on 352nd volksgrenediers and 726 infantry under the wehrmacht. both divisions defended omaha/E3 cause way.

Hey Mark, thank you man. That's a neat idea, was thinking a 2nd ID myself but nothing yet. I would say start small and envision what you want to achive. Mission 1, opening, first task, atmosphere and build from there. How you want it to play out and feel. Then start with the knowledge you have. I always think "I want this to happen" and when I don't know then I just hit google. "arma 3 how to ..." then you will learn step by step and connect everything. There's so much info from the community over the years so if you know what you want and just ask, someone will have asked it before and answered aswell. Lots of trial and errors but it's fun.
hey man i really enjoyed all of your campaigns they are seriously incredible. I wanted to make something similar for myself but following the 29th/1st ID from normandy to hurtgen. Is there mission creation tips you could help me with or point me in the right direction? Ive already remade the Divisions for Utah/omaha both german and US in orbat faction creator. but my knowledge of eden is slim

I liked the first mission, but PiR is just too annoying, would rather ace or vanilla or ANY other medical system. If can ever figure out how to disable it Ill play the rest of the campaign

its like 2 of the mods have something missing. i get mission failed just before it it starts. and 3 message at start up to .1 may be the map. never got it working

hey, the map screens are pure black, and after the cutscene it just hovers above ground towards the island, weirdly a week ago about everything worked, i took a break from arma and came back and it was broken, i tried missions 1 3 and 4 and it was the same

So, played this through to the end and basically enjoyed it. Bottom line with all of these mods is people create them for free for others to enjoy and you should always be grateful for it.

In more detail:
- The Tarawa battle is enjoyable but the terrain is probably a little too monotone (just bunkers and knocked over trees) so you the battles have not shape.
- The Kwajalein and Eniwetok battles are better with more varied terrain.
- This isn't helped by the way Japanese troops essentially just spawn on the map.
- The wounds system used here SUCKS. The AI will not treat you and you can't treat yourself most of the time so being wounded basically means dying.
- There's a number of repetitive error messages for missing assets, mostly knives in people's inventory and a sunset error message at the start of each mission.

Overall mark - 6/10

- Now using IFA3 weapons and US General Equipment and Accessories uniforms.
- Added Improved Melee System.
- Removed old Secret Weapons mod.

Have not however played it through, so could be bugs here and there. Not sure if tasks in Coop works or not, some troubles with that on another campaign.

@Pear, just wanted to confirm what JadeStone is talking about. No rush but it looks like the error is coming from missing SAB KI-100 wreckage. Which I see that SAB has changed a lot. Could be what impacting the mission

Hello, Im encountering an error on "The Northern Tip" mission where when i load in, im getting a couple errors which is causing the mission to not load properly. When i start the mission, I am just seeing a birds eye view of the map. Would you know a way to fix this at all?

I absolutely love all the missions that you have made by the way! Very fun and enjoyable! Thanks again for your hard work!

I love the missions but the ones on archipelago don't work for me :( the camera just floats over the islands. It's weird because it used to work for me

Great campaingn with exciting missions. I liked every minute of it. I'd also prefer a Japanese campaign maybe on the Iwo Jima map. Keep up the good work :)

@Snafu No not annoying at all, I had not thought about the group thing / performance at all! Huge tip! Will fix that on all of them going forward. Yea I might have missed to max the squad on Solomon yes, will check. Thanks man! Don't hesitate with more feedback if you come across something. Yea it's nice with some voices as extra flare, they come from all sorts of places, Arma / movies / old games.

Hope I'll not annoy you with that feedback, just want to point out some things you could improve on those campaigns, and or on your future missions if you ever do some more. You did a really good job still, had some great time with it so far. The small voice acted lines are a big plus too. Not sur eif they were recorded specifically or taken from somewhere, but they definitely add a lot to the missions! Five stars deserved for sure!

@Pear , That's nice to hear. And I hear you, I know even just changing the uniforms for the units take a lot of time, that said I cannot recommend Simcardo's mod enough, it's just top notch gear. Have some more feedback, if you want. In your Solomon campaign, I think you could max out the player AI squadmates skills, cause otherwise they're just aren't very useful tbh, Arma AI being what it is.
Another thing, I've noticed that sometimes there are many single unit groups, (notably when they're playing ambient anims and whatnot, also on some of the defense missions in the Solomon campaign). I'd recommend grouping them as much as possible for performance. Group leader unit uses way more resources than non leader units, so the less group the better performance will be.

Hey snafu. Thanks for the feedback and I hear you. I have started to rework the campaigns as Secret Weapons is being removed soon. As I adjust for that I will go through the AI accuracy and the jap uniforms for a more lifelike feeling. I have actually been considering to swap to Simcardos stuff lately for the same reason you mention and will probably do that, just takes a bit of time to get there.

Been trying out your Pacific campaigns. Good job, liking it so far. Some feedback though, I think you should lower the enemy AI accuracy sub-skill, they're way too precise with their firing, and it kills all the fun. Got sniped way too easily way too many times, even during night missions. Also I know how time consuming it would be to edit each unit, but you should add the Simcardo's US general equipment uniforms to the Marines, they're far better and would be nice for immersion to not have each unit be clone looking like.
Still overall, good work, I don't usually play workshop SP missions, but you did a good work with the campaigns.

Your mods are fantastic ….I love Tarawa. I really hoping you work on a Pelieu, Iwo Jima, and Okinawa to finish out the war.

I might also add maybe a little less distance to travel. I notice on a lot of the individual missions there was ALOT of walking before you really go into contact.
