Question is there a way to make it so they don't each need to be upgraded one by one after weapon tech improvement? It gets rather expensive upgrading them all so they remain useful.

Still a great mod. Wish it could be cooked to reduce filesize and loadtimes.It's by far the biggest mod in my loadorder. Aside from that, I've been using this with WSR to make some personal changes and I can see no way I'll ever drop this mod.

just hide them then ... can easily be done with Weapon Skin Replacer. Ghost Templates are nice and all but only if you don't want the weapons ... so one way or another someone will not be happy

I'd have loved for these to be Ghost Templates. Wish more modders would do that over flooding the loadout screen. But thats just my opinion.

Hello, I wanted to know where do you have to go in the game file to find the stat and damage of weapons? I am currently playing with the lwotc version and the weapon upgrades have not made themselves available.

I just noticed there's no edit button on comments on Steam (I don't comment here often) so I wanna say, bullpup pretty much is an SMG, that's why I feel SMGs should be (mostly) bullpups.

I noticed some weapons seem to be miscategorized.

All SMGs except Collector are categorized as pistols. I feel like they should all be bullpups? Otherwise, we have no ME bullpups.

There is one shotgun, Ruzad, which is classified as a shotgun, but it gets upgraded with assault rifle tech.

Also, would it be possible to get some heavy weapons from single-player modes, even if they're just skins for the grenade/rocket launcher?

I am not using LWOTC so i may be wrong. But i think LWOTC does similar to CI change weapons into single build, which does interfere with upgrading. What I did is making the Weapons single build for my CI campaigns with the mod Weapon Skin Replacer and that worked nicely. But I cannot speak for LWOTC

Great mod! Oddly enough though most ME assault rifles (with 2 exceptions) seem to give a +1 armor piercing bonus - I assume that's not intended? Any idea what could interfere

Is there any way to fix the pistols in this mod to animate properly with Fan Fire? As far as I can tell the damage is unaffected but whenever I try using Fan Fire with the Carnifex or the Arc Pistol, the character will partially perform an animation for a single shot and then put the weapon away. The Halo Reach Magnum doesn't have this problem, though I don't have any other pistol mods to test.

The main problem that prevented me from adding them in the Xcom SMG categories, is the fact that in Mass Effect, SMGs use pistol animations. This means the original model doesn’t take into account that the user would hold it anywhere other than the grip. As a result using the Mass Effect SMGs with the Xcom rifle animations causes some awful clipping with the hands.

How easy would it be to turn the SMGs into actual SMGs, animation wise. I'm playing with LWOTC and rarely use autopistols, so I'm missing out on a bunch of weapons.

I recommend keeping a separate backup for any custom edits you make, as I’ll probably update the mod again in the near future.

This mod is a must have when using a lot of weapons, doesn't disable it just makes the ui more manageable.

First of all: Great mod! Really cool how you managed to not only replicate the models but also the sound- and projectile/impact-effects.

One thing that does bug me though is that after I installed some custom class mods with soldiers that can use more than 2 weapon types the equipment menu gets cluttered with weapons. Is it possible to somehow deactivate some of the weapons in your mod? I'm not good with mods so a few pointers would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Love this mod, but it's missing a replacement for the grenade launcher. The N7 Piranha would be an excellent choice.

@Serena Summerset I assume this happens with the default launcher? If that's the case, I recommend picking up the Xcom 2 Alternative Mod Launcher as that is a far better launcher for using mods

I had once made a comment about a issue, I have discovered it myself. Im sure the mod still works wonderfully. I didnt see any LAZER damage settings in the config file. only beam and mag. would it be possible to add lazer and coil? I use LWOTC
