hi @Toprus100 will be this map updated for a water, sewage and garbage management in any way, please?
Oilslick77 Jul 19, 2024 @ 2:49am
Thank you! This series of realistic maps is awesome! Like you mentioned, I am more of a roleplayer instead of a powergamer. For me, it's all about immersion so a plausible and realistic challenge that fits the narrative is better than just challenge for its own sake.....

Ifound this map the best from workshop. After reading description of rails i immidetly know what to do and this is very rare feeling for me about this game.
imperfectionistimp Feb 27, 2024 @ 2:41am
I agree, this is a phenomenal map and hope it can be updated!
Bud Vasky Dec 29, 2023 @ 4:23am
Please, please update this map. This is the best map ever!!!
DarkNite Oct 2, 2023 @ 3:18am
I started to play your map but found that the very first bit of road from the Drayory custom house cannot be upgraded from a mud road, and the customs house to Bonygy cannot be connected at all
HAVOC Sep 23, 2023 @ 12:24am
@Fire Pixsel. You can buy at custom "packed track builder" and transport it via truck
Fire Pixsel Sep 22, 2023 @ 11:25am
How do i exactly build tracks on 1960 start? u can't transport any track builder when u build rail building centre
gax Jun 25, 2023 @ 11:35am
Please, more maps like this!
Tengrism Mar 19, 2023 @ 7:19am

bozicpredrag7 Dec 21, 2022 @ 4:07pm
yes it looks nice but how do those people sleep with trains roaring past them :rt5house: :FS19horse: :summer2021simulation: :tractor: :harvester: :chicken: :rooster: :blacksheep: :FS19pig: :prize_ribbon:
Oldhip Oct 14, 2022 @ 7:36pm
disagree
Moskau Sep 17, 2022 @ 1:49am
Oldhip, while horse and hand drawn carts/trucks would have been used in eastern europe pre-war (and hell even some motor ones) the main way cargo travelled not just in europe but in the entire world was by train.
Oldhip Jul 22, 2022 @ 1:54am
lol, surely trucks were in use before trains even if horse drawn :)
redtrain May 25, 2022 @ 9:07am
Hi! How did you changed default map in editor?
kbeza41 Apr 17, 2022 @ 10:23am
it's bad to hate people who use trucks, everyone has their point of view
thornado Mar 22, 2022 @ 1:43am
Love this map :)
lad2012 Feb 11, 2022 @ 11:18pm
Привет! Как ты менял в редакторе оригинальную карту?
JayPee Feb 1, 2022 @ 1:20pm
the postwar recovery story is a really great idea for a map. I hope to see more maps like this in the future!
Big Daddy ! Feb 1, 2022 @ 2:55am
very nice
FeedMio Dec 26, 2021 @ 4:45am
too much railways and unrealistic landscape
TopFan Nov 7, 2021 @ 8:23am
How did you do this?
I also want to change default map.
Doctor Eastwood Oct 15, 2021 @ 2:57pm
I can't wait to try this, I hope it works because I'm having a hard time with how overwhelming it is to get anything off the ground, especially if there's already civilization there.
Kung Fu Treachery Aug 25, 2021 @ 5:17pm
Great concept! I agree totally with what you said, I hope there are more maps built on this principle
Julien Renard Jun 10, 2021 @ 3:03am
WOW, this is really an amazing map! It fits perfectly to the spirit of the game, as the announcement stated hree years ago:
"A poor country, somewhere in Eastern Europe. But it will be better...". Remember? Here it is.

I haven't played this map yet but quickly reviewed it and it looks simply awesome. The idea of having at disposal infrastructure to utilize as settlement grow is something I really like. If it is playable, great job
Cuddletug Feb 8, 2021 @ 8:30am
I was thinking the same thing a few days ago about the rail infrastructure and how it lacks in the base maps; and now I find this map. Great idea! I love it.
The_Mask Dec 16, 2020 @ 1:26pm
Awesome map , highly recommended .
uhugast Dec 7, 2020 @ 11:14am
Ok. I did not know that. I thank you for your very fast response and again for the Fun i have with your Map.:steamhappy:
Toprus100  [author] Dec 7, 2020 @ 7:48am
I have not done any changes to the map, bauxite ore should be automatically placed around by the game.
uhugast Dec 7, 2020 @ 6:09am
Hi, i would like to know, if Bauxit is already implementet in this wonderful Map. I am at the Point where i could start a new Industry. I did not asign to the Beta yet because i dont want to have the System destroyed by Error. But if i could build Anushkas i would give it a try.
Toprus100  [author] Nov 29, 2020 @ 2:38am
I have no idea what may make it crash, so i don't know how to fix it.
THE RISING STAR PHOENIX Nov 28, 2020 @ 10:06pm
So I have a problem with this map, it wont load. Every time I choose this map to play on it crashes my game. Do you have a way to fix this?
Toprus100  [author] Nov 12, 2020 @ 10:58pm
Thanks for all the kind words guys, a new map, made from scratch, is in works, however due to lack of time lately it is still going to take a lot of time for me to finish it. I hope you understand.
Pharaonkheops Nov 12, 2020 @ 11:36am
Waow! That's a masterwork! Your map is not just inhabited... it's ALIVE!
You have a wonderfull sense of detail (those hedges here and there around the countryside, showing some remnant of a pas farming activity ^^ ). Railways are deliciously wrecked (quite few damages on the railway itself but many bridges down... as things go in time of war).
Really hope you'll produce some others along time.
Only a lone suggestion: your fret rail yards on cities borders look really realistic. But due to map's scale, they also look a bit too big. Maybe you could reduce them of one line or two?
putin Nov 6, 2020 @ 10:34am
thats cool perfect man
uhugast Nov 6, 2020 @ 9:27am
Oh man, a Masterpiece i have so much fun with this Map. I realy like it. I found the guy ho planed the existing Railwaynetwork an did send him to Siberia to do some more of his genius Work there. ;-)
uhugast Oct 30, 2020 @ 8:11am
Thank you for this !!!! In my 3th Attempt in this Game i will take your Map. I will do most the hard Way and think your Map will be very interesting. Everything in this Map looks very very nice placed. Thank You!
REDSHIFT.exe Oct 8, 2020 @ 10:51am
Thank you for this!
Toprus100  [author] Sep 21, 2020 @ 9:30pm
Untill around 2004, Wolsztyn also ran freight trains, but now it's completely different. Yeah, the crews are aging and there's no sign of them being replaced.
sirrliv Sep 21, 2020 @ 1:36pm
And even the PKP made a quasi-exception for the heritage operation out of Wolsztyn, world famous for operating regularly scheduled steam-hauled rural passenger trains. Though sadly, concerns including changing regulations, increasing operating costs, the aging of both the locomotives and their expert crews, and travel restrictions caused by the current COVID plague appear to be jeopardizing the continued survival of this unique experience.
Toprus100  [author] Sep 21, 2020 @ 11:30am
I know how long steam locos were operated for :). The Polish PKP officially announced the end of their steam era in 1992. Oil fired steam locomotives existed but still the key feature is missing - animations.
sirrliv Sep 21, 2020 @ 11:18am
I just remembered that this would be a perfect map for using the Class BR52 steam locomotive on as vast parts of the Soviet/Eastern European rail system were still dominated by steam engines in the postwar years, often well into the 1980's, with these mass produced former German "Kriegsloks" being especially ubiquitous. True, the mod treats them as diesel engines because W&R does not yet support steam trains, but it's better than nothing.
sirrliv Sep 21, 2020 @ 11:09am
This looks really interesting! I love the realistic flavor of it, something I've found difficult to capture in my normal playthroughs. And while one could argue that the large starting infrastructure, particularly the railway network and prebuilt industries could give an unfair advantage, I like how you've set them up as abandoned and piecemeal, meaning that it'll take some doing to restore them to operation. I love looking at screenshots of things like the collapsed railway bridge (a fantastic touch in its own right) and imagining gathering the resources to restore the line to full operation while having to temporarily divert traffic to the still standing bridge and dealing with the headaches that such single track bottlenecks will cause. It's fantastic! Bravo.
Toprus100  [author] Sep 19, 2020 @ 8:14am
Thanks a lot :), another map is on the way but it's going super slowly because I have very little time lately. Somebody will propably rip my concept and put it in their own map :D
Krieger1907 Sep 19, 2020 @ 7:09am
Its absolutely fascinating how people can make these scenarios and I find it incredibly entertaining to read about it, play etc. It really shows the potential of this game. Since I dont have the best imagination and concept of creating realistic looking and actually functioning railway network, I find this really useful and I hope I can learn some concepts of railway building.
Thanks a lot mate for your time and effort. Keep going. :D

Niesamowita praca, na pewno skorzystam z tej mapy. Bardzo dziękuję:)
SlowNtired Sep 14, 2020 @ 3:52pm
@Toprus100

Ah i didn't really read the description haha.
Ok so it is intented to be a bit of a puzzle, i see.

But as @andrew said, the power lines really are messed up and it has more to do with the game it self.
andrew Sep 14, 2020 @ 8:54am
Lovely, thanks. Like SlowNtired I did find the power infrastructure challenging and much of the problem lies in W&R itself. I find that lines do not always work even when visually intact, and I know of no way of checking continuity except at switches. In real life, of course, it is possible if time consuming to isolate a continuity break down to a single pole and fix the problem fairly cheaply. So I think anybody choosing this scenario and enabling the power option needs to be aware that they should probably start with at least enough money to lay new power lines to one of the existing settlements as well as other essentials; if they are really patient and lucky they might not need it all. The lack of a power connection to the outside world makes some expenditure there necessary anyway. At least the breaks in other communications are visible from the start.
Toprus100  [author] Sep 14, 2020 @ 7:24am
@Oolykee thank you very much for covering my project in the video of yours. It feels very nice seeing people appreciate my work, which i put effort into. Stay tuned for the second map with infrastructure, which will deffinately be more challenging than the first one!

@SlowNtired, as said in the description, the map will make you cry, and it sure did, didn't it? :) Placing signals and finding breaks is all a part of the challenge

thanks again! :)
