This is the replacement of this mod, and is being updated and is a combination of a few of Aj mods in one.

So small yet so useful
A Selection of Draculas Mar 20, 2022 @ 4:09pm
There are also new traits for things like "Diplomatic Court" and "Intrigue Court" that could do with a visual update
Galore Mar 6, 2022 @ 8:37pm
This mod works fine for me. It does not change any scripts from the DLC and that adds new traits not shown in this mod so it still applies to vanilla but not any other, I am not a coding expert though but it shouldn't conflict with anything.

please update
LordSith Feb 16, 2022 @ 10:37am
Does this work with royal court?
Aj  [author] Aug 17, 2021 @ 9:50am
Another lifestyle trait not covered by this mod is the Physician trait, I think.
Aj  [author] Aug 17, 2021 @ 9:48am
the traits you mentioned are obtained as a result of Lifestyle events and are still related to attributes, and the colours are more based on attribute link than lifestyle link regardless. As for Herbalist, it will be added the next time I update the mod, I think it wasn't even present in the game when I made this, or I might have just missed it, thanks for the suggestion.
Mox Aug 17, 2021 @ 9:17am
I don't suppose you could make a version of this mod where the icons that are not related to the perk trees (WiseMan, Hunting, Blademaster, Reveller, Physician) be the standard colour? They're not related to Lifestyles in anyway as far as I know, not unlockable nor related to events arising from them, so it doesn't really make sense to have them there.

If they are unlockable through Lifestyle Focus events, then fair enough, but yeah.
Mox Aug 17, 2021 @ 9:03am
The Herbalist trait comes from a Medicine lifestyle focus event, so it should probably have the white shield.
Maltese Morgan Mar 25, 2021 @ 9:42pm
This makes so much sense to be in the base game, I can see why they'll never add it.
Aj  [author] Feb 24, 2021 @ 6:36pm
It should be my attributes mod, rather than this one. Nekrux made a fix for it, I've linked it on the attributes icons mod page.

When I came back form a save ACHIEVEMENTS were turned off
Aj  [author] Nov 27, 2020 @ 8:57am
I'll look into it
Soulredeemer Nov 27, 2020 @ 8:48am
i only have 3 mods. Colorful Education Traits, Colorful Lifestyle Traits and Style Brighter Attributes. i tried it countless times today. i only had Acievments when Colorful Education Traits was activated alone.
Aj  [author] Nov 27, 2020 @ 7:25am
Can anyone else confirm this? I don't see why this shouldn't be achievement compatible. Are you sure it isn't another mod causing it?
Soulredeemer Nov 27, 2020 @ 2:54am
no more Achievement compatible in 1.2.
hotpixel Oct 2, 2020 @ 1:46am
This (and the Education Trait one) are great improvements. Thanks!
Aj  [author] Sep 30, 2020 @ 9:12pm
This mod should still work with the new update, regardless of what the launcher says.
aegonisablackfyre Sep 30, 2020 @ 11:24am
Anyone know if this works with 1.1.?
TheHonoraryBard Sep 29, 2020 @ 2:00pm
Update required
QOMRADEQUEER Sep 28, 2020 @ 12:12pm
I really love this mod, and that it is ironman compatible is even better.

Thank you kindly!

(My only compliant is that the seduction icon isn't as lovely as vanilla's, but that's fine.

great mod compatible with others. very helpful.:D:
Lizard-Fendal Sep 15, 2020 @ 6:39am
I joked in Russian, implying that the mod is superb

Great mods dude thank you!
SplittinHeads Sep 12, 2020 @ 10:32pm
Alright, sorry for the way my comment looks kinda harsh.
Aj  [author] Sep 12, 2020 @ 5:33pm
This has been addressed in the current update but I haven't updated the preview images yet.
SplittinHeads Sep 12, 2020 @ 5:31pm
The intrigue lifestyle traits are super ugly, they need to be darker i think
ThatShawnGuy Sep 12, 2020 @ 4:33pm
This is how it should have been in the base game. Thanks for the mod.
AstroCat Sep 11, 2020 @ 9:00pm
Thanks for the work on the mod, I'll definitely check it out.
Aj  [author] Sep 11, 2020 @ 7:50pm
@AstroCat in case you're still interested, I fixed the updating issue, and the levelled lifestyle traits are going to be added to this mod.

I'm also probably going to at some point change the CK2 Education Trait mod to something like CK2 Style Traits Complete or something and combine the mods, as well as adding any new trait improvements to that one mod. I will maybe then make CK2 Education Traits a new standalone mod, but I'm not sure yet.

If anybody has any opinions on this and whether I should or shouldn't do it please share
AstroCat Sep 11, 2020 @ 1:06pm
Annoying Workshop! But yeah they are really like a separate category, totally agree.
Aj  [author] Sep 11, 2020 @ 12:49pm
The only problem is workshop won't let me update this mod, so yeah.
Aj  [author] Sep 11, 2020 @ 12:46pm
But yes you are right. And these aren't covered by this mod.
Aj  [author] Sep 11, 2020 @ 12:45pm
For me those go into a different category. I might even make them work more like the education traits (or a combination of lifestyle traits and education traits, I haven't decided yet.)
AstroCat Sep 11, 2020 @ 12:33pm
There are several Lifestyle Traits not connected to the Perks Chart. They are called Leveled traits.

@Vinimiominomin soon
Aj  [author] Sep 11, 2020 @ 11:40am
@AstroCat I don't think those count as lifestyle traits. Lifestyle traits are specifically the turquoise background traits that you can get from finishing perk trees. There are other traits that might reflect a person's lifestyle but they aren't categorised by the game (or by the wiki) as "lifestyle" traits specifically. Apart from one exception which is celibate, which is not covered by this mod, but is almost definitely going to be covered by a future mod of mine.
AstroCat Sep 11, 2020 @ 4:51am
These are for the player lifestyles only right? Because there are other "lifestyles" not shown as shields I've come across.
The Realest One Since April 1945 Sep 10, 2020 @ 11:53pm
Colorful everything when
Aj  [author] Sep 10, 2020 @ 11:28pm
@scribeuntitled @AstroCat I like the designs too but they don't work very well as icons as the design gets lost in the detail at a lower scale. Maybe with this its fine as long as they are visually distinct, but I wanted to go for clearer designs. I might restore the letter behind the dagger at some point in an update (as that icon needs improving anyway), but apart from that I like them as they are.

@avil if they were just colours there would be nothing to distinguish them as lifestyle traits. Also they're called "CK2 style" for a reason. There is another mod already I believe that does something similar to what you're asking for.
avil Sep 10, 2020 @ 12:12pm
I wish it was just colors, feels like shields look off in the list of traits.
scribeuntitled Sep 10, 2020 @ 11:20am
I really like the backgrounds being changed, but not really a fan of the simplified icons for some. Having the little vines around the heart and the letter behind the dagger was neat. Also the tower being constructed.
AstroCat Sep 10, 2020 @ 10:45am
Nice work, seems small but I did like the letter behind the dagger for schemer, not ALL schemes are murder! :D
Rob'sEvilTwin Sep 10, 2020 @ 6:47am
Simple, beautiful, love all 3 of your mods :D
Genocidio Sep 9, 2020 @ 2:37pm
They look so much better now. Fantastic work. Hopefully they'll address it in the upcoming patch.
