Im not sure if its a bug but the byzantines name stays Eastern Roman Empire and when you try to change it in the settings nothing happens

I'll most likely create an MCN version for EU5 but probably just for vanilla, at least initially, and only if possible without too many changes in MCN's infrastructure.

@ others : I hope to release an update this week, which should fix the problems

Hi, can the EU5: Extended Timeline team implement content from this mod accredited, thank you for any answer!

Also if not would you be open to making a compatch, but likely the scope of ET EU5 will be very big so a lot would be implemented in terms of cultural provincial/location names.

@AngelBudgie The reason it's Arymor is because like the culture hybrid of Breton and French it refers to Armorica which is the historica name for the region.

out of curiosity; why is the breton-language word for brittany "arymôr"? i havent come across it before, and what little information i did find, pointed towards it being welsh, as opposed to the breton "breizh".

Hi, I have seen some incorrect names in the Basque language.

I can think about Leon, Asturias, Baskonia that appears as Leongo, Asturiasko and Baskoniako when it should appear as I wrote it first.

Can this be fixed?

hey concerning Oso Pardo's issue, i think its because the name list for late normans isn't picked up by the mod. So, if you start in 1178, all holdings by normans will have their base name. You don't have that problem in 1066 if they hold the same titles. Hopefully, this can be fixed. Thank you for this mod its really good.

@Oso Pardo norman culture is not very well covered unfortunately
@noga mods that alter the world map are almost always incompatible, so yes, that's probably the culprit
@CS Can't confirm right now, but I think so. As long as that mod doesn't alter the landed_titles file, it should be compatible

Consistently getting a crash with this mod on a specific date in my game. No crash with mod turned off, and after going past the crash and turning the mod back on, the game seems to continue fine. Tried with both CMH and base versions of the mod.

Hello, friend. Thanks a lot for the mod. I noticed one problem. For some reason in 1178 all Norman ruled counties in Sicily and England have their normal vanilla names. It's the only culture where this happens.

So, first, this is one of my favorite mods. I love it, and thanks for all the work.

Second: right now the mod is causing a crash *when starting a new game* and only when starting a new game. I'm not sure why, but it's definitely this mod. It's easy enough to work around, because the mod works when loaded mid-game, but it would be nice to somehow get around the problem.

If you load the game without it and then save an exit, you can then activate it when loading the saved game and it'll work. This trick seems to work with this mod every time that CK3 has a major update.

I know you're reluctant on this, but as somebody who has this mod on as second nature in most games and has had this mod for over 2500 hours of CK3 I know an MPE compatch would not go unappreciated by the community.

Ive been looking for a mod like this for a real long time and you know how you when you look for things on the steam workshop it usually shows things based on key words I think it would have been way much easier to find this mod if it had the key words in the description I think it would be much easier to find cause I only found this mod because of community title projects description when I looked up endonyms.

@CaesarRock @scenegirlluvr2007 Some places are not covered or don't have names for all cultures. While latin and greek are indeed the ones with the largest coverage, there are still many places with missing localisations for these languages. This mod is continuously expanding and increasing coverage with each new version, but it's impossible to ever have 100% coverage.

@gunndigs If nothing is constructed, the "barony" will have the default name from the localisation files of the game (depends on your game's language setting). Cultural names only apply once the holding finished construction. This is how the game works and there is no way to change that.
There are instances in which this mod does change the default localisation of holdings or titles, but they are rare.

@juune8 i'm not sure why, but your download is surely broken. the file should be named '999_MoreCulturalNames.txt' and the first title in it should be 'k_papal_state' with 30+ cultural names for it. Overall the file should be 261774 lines long (for version 24.353.0)

I am also having that issue. No cities will change from their arabic to greek or latin variants.
