Basically you need to raise the height of where the projectile starts to make it align with the scope. Or lower the scope providing that doesn't start to visually clip into the model that's potentially viewable when ADS is engauged.

Proton isn't a VM it's WINE (a translator). Note that updating the win version won't fix the issue if it's the same as this one (minus the shader changes). Whatever he's done with these recent builds has messed with the alignment of the shots/scopes. Flattening out the projectile trajectory while nice for the player doesn't actually fix the issue. The shots are too low and or the scope now too high based on whatever he changed to make the guns XYZ flip. The height over bore is now increased meaning for how this was originally put together the shots just never cross zero at any distance.

So I got curious and installed RF on Proton, installed the Win version of this...exact same issue. Shots are well below zero. Same game breaking stutters too. I'm not sure if these builds are on Unity 20XX but they are still using the same garbo single threaded bottle neck design for sure.

Yeah the trajectory is much nicer (though probably a tad OP for a 5.56x45 round) but yeah the scope just doesn't line up right anymore. I've seen quite a few small updates to the game client so I kinda figured whatever he's doing is "here to stay" now though the beta branch is a whole other mess of broken atm.

Its with the animations manager. Not sure why its doing that since all firing animations are dead on and the bullet drop has been dramatically decreased.

It's better but still below zero (cue subnautica joke). Shots radius just barely kisses the zero marker from below it.

Saw there was an update but shots are still below zero. Tried on beta and non-beta.

Arms are fine as far as it's been on my end. Only issue now is the zero isn't...zero heh. Shots are all low of 0 so you have to use a rather high hold over to hit anything far away and aim well above heads to head shot at semi normal ranges.

Sorry I just realized this is a tad crazy because I didn't say which one...it might affect them all but I only use the marksman.

Yeah when I was on 18.04 I had a script that would launch the old version if being called from Unity. I didn't get much done before I had to update my systems so Unity 5.X.X no longer installs. So now I'm waiting for an updated Unity 20/21 build tool kit so I can pick up the rifle and several maps.

Frankly this is an area I'm not super versed with. I have a rifle in the pipe line but because the version of unity the game has been stuck on is...OLD I can't use a current version of Blender with it...however now I can't mod at all until SR ports to a current Unity and keeps up with the changes as the old version no longer installs on current OS builds.

also the new update seams to have made the linux version redundant. don't have linux or MacOs but could you verify that by trying one of the normal versions assuming that you are on a non windows platform?

its very simple and easy if you haven't turned this off in every blender animation file you used for every mod. Apparently this was the case for poor Verrator.

had to go into beta branch to verify that changing the animation setting to allow unity to adjust the animation was coming through.

I kinda feel like this might be pointless to report (i.e. just wait for the transition dust to settle before fixing stuff) but I've noticed the scope isn't zeroed anylonger. Shots start below zero and fall off from there. Just a heads up...

Sadly this is gibbed in the new updates. Guns point to the ground heh. Clearly some XYZ changes in the game. Just noticed some of my maps also have broken things due to a change in XYZ.
