i have a request, can you turn down the research requirements for these? or put them into another research? its 1000 in my game, which even with the debuff for being neolithic still feels excessive for a cute decorative plant
ItsRose Nov 24, 2024 @ 10:57pm
vv or a stacking feature or mood buff since it's long lasting?
Squaul Oct 22, 2024 @ 3:42pm
Need witch plants

Also kinda weird that they all have the same stats and that some who are objectively gorgeous doesn't give more beauty points.

(i understand the goal but still would be nice to have some variation and if some had :
bigger lifespan or bigger beauty points like they all have 24 lp and 8 bp as a base but a set of them have bigger beauty another one have bigger lifespan and the third one is a middle ground ? [could be interesting to make a version where the plants are more akin to our real life ones too ?])

I love these so much for base decoration, daylilies make me sick lol... these make it look natural and fresh, they are really pretty and well made
spaceprogram444 Aug 26, 2024 @ 3:01pm

tinfoil hat bird Aug 2, 2024 @ 9:01pm
they add peyote yet you cant get high off it :steamsad:
Gantradies Jul 13, 2024 @ 10:20pm
i was going to ask Sephira's question till i saw they already had-
could see Aloe being used either raw, or in a processed form as a treatment for burns ect ,
if the medical coding would allow?
Sephira jo Jun 18, 2024 @ 4:42am
some of these plants have medicinal properties, would you consider adding those in?
kizzykiller Jun 2, 2024 @ 12:06pm
Could we get a spider plant? it may not be a succulent but it does kinda fit with the mob, long life span, good to look at, great for indoors, requires only a little care. What do ya say up for some spider plant supremacy.

Needs a patch with Vanilla Security Expanded - I can't seem to fill my catapult with pincushion cacti.

Adding a new medicine is not that simple, and definitely not worth it just for the decorative plant. I'm not even adding new medicines in Vanilla Factions Expanded mods, let alone here.
Jack Death Scythe Jul 24, 2023 @ 7:17pm
Could I suggest that Aloe Vera be used as a lesser healroot due to it being in many real-world healing/soothing salves and the ability to use the hard tip and fibrous cords as a natural sewing needles?
Oskar Potocki  [author] Jul 22, 2023 @ 5:10am
But that was not our intention for this mod.
Midriff-chan Jul 21, 2023 @ 10:49pm
What about peyote? You could harvest it and have your pawns consume it to become incapacitated and blissfully happy as they see "The Uncle", as in, the brother of the God-Father xD
Oskar Potocki  [author] Jul 21, 2023 @ 3:31am
Not in this game they don't :)
DreamFree Jul 20, 2023 @ 1:05pm
I think all these plants have uses other than decoration. Too bad
Midriff-chan Mar 24, 2023 @ 8:43pm
Would be nice to add maguey into the succulents list and use it in Vanilla Brewing Expanded to make pulque and mezcal with it.
Denys_World Mar 2, 2023 @ 5:10am
When are you gonna add Thyme ?
CTH2004 Oct 31, 2022 @ 7:34am
I just realised something. Aloe Vera, IRL, has a lot of medicinal use. So, what if this Aloe could be used to make herbal medicine? So, if you have it as decoration, when it dies you can still use it, so long as you harvest it quickly!
Joseph Jun 9, 2022 @ 1:14pm
my fairy washboard plants outside are only giving 2 beauty instead of 8.
Fabian May 19, 2022 @ 2:41pm
We can't eat them? Why?
Setvin Apr 27, 2022 @ 4:56pm
or make them spawn far less often, they spawn so much that it looks like there are Easter eggs on the map.
Setvin Apr 27, 2022 @ 4:55pm
everything about this is amazing! I have one suggestion, maybe you will accept. "Echeveria" plant is WAY too big and WAY too pastel, if in an arid shrubland they stand out far too much. Can we make it smaller than a tree and tone down the insanely bright pastel colors?
patashnik Jan 17, 2022 @ 1:56pm
@Engineer Gaming haha, I was just going to suggest that half jokingly. It would totally fit the tone of the game to send your pawns on mescaline trips, especially in naturalist/hippie/animist tribe colonies.
Engineer Gaming Nov 23, 2021 @ 12:19am
Bit miffed that I can't eat the Peyote.
Nobody plants peyote for the looks, man!
I want my colonists to be violently ill before passing out in the yard, grinning ear to ear.
That's what you grow Peyote for.
Jaggid Edje Sep 10, 2021 @ 6:46pm
The new game update seems to have broken the beauty of all outdoor plants added by mods.
Regardless of type, they have a beauty of 2 (so they raise the dirt they are on from -1 to 1).
1337 Kiwi Sep 8, 2021 @ 10:33pm
If pawns could go prone in CE, I'm sure the succulents would provide excellent cover, just watch out when they catch alight.
John Lemon Aug 6, 2021 @ 3:28am
where's San Pedro?
Boo! A Madea Halloween Jul 26, 2021 @ 6:29pm
thanks king. are there any drug crafting "interactions" planned for the peyote plant?
Oskar Potocki  [author] Jul 26, 2021 @ 6:03am
Its not a Bug, it’s how vanilla layering of structures works. Can’t do nothing about it without making Rimworld 2.0
Cruesoe Jul 26, 2021 @ 5:58am
I've noticed a small bug, the succulents are drawn above the outdoor lamppost from your furniture collection.
Place one above and behind a lamppost and you'll see what I mean, it's drawn over the top not behind as you would expect.
Microsoft Excel Jun 15, 2021 @ 10:29pm
The "Details" section on this page says the succulents last 3 times as long, but the first image under "Contents" says it's only 2 times as long. Just thought I'd point that out, it's a bit confusing.
Oskar Potocki  [author] Mar 10, 2021 @ 11:04am
Yep!
PantherHardraad Mar 10, 2021 @ 10:31am
Is this compatible with Vikings bees?
ahueonao Mar 4, 2021 @ 2:32pm
I have a fundamental disagreement with this mod's mechanics because these actually look extremely pretty. Thanks, these will go nicely in my desert hellhole!
Geojak Feb 25, 2021 @ 6:23am
In the intro text is say trice a long live but later in the picture box is say twice? Which is correct?
Neosuduno Feb 15, 2021 @ 2:51pm
A suggestion for aloe. It has been used for burns since neolithic times, so maybe have a harder version to grow that can be used on light wounds (50 tend quality).
理科生田 Feb 3, 2021 @ 8:18am
为什么芦荟和龙舌兰能吃,而它们不行?鲜亮而多汁。:lunar2019grinningpig:
Why can aloe and agave be eaten, but they can't? Bright and juicy.
Jesus of Nazareth Jan 26, 2021 @ 3:22am
Wild versions of these plants seem to cover other objects such as trees, despite growing behind them. Just a graphical issue.
Tlacuache Silvestre Jan 20, 2021 @ 8:52am
Sure thing! Thank you for answering.
Have a nice day :-)
Oskar Potocki  [author] Jan 20, 2021 @ 8:44am
Please release it as a standalone mod translation - makes it easier for you and us to update.
Tlacuache Silvestre Jan 20, 2021 @ 8:41am
Hello! Good morning.
I have been trying to translate a couple mods to Spanish, and I just managed to get this one right, after a few tries, ha.

Would you guys be interested in adding it to your mod in your next update?
I love your work, by the way!
Yinyang107 Dec 9, 2020 @ 2:58pm
Any chance of a version of this mod that only adds one succulent type? My plantables list is long as sin as it is.
Hazardous Dec 3, 2020 @ 2:22pm
are all the succs the same?
76561198797994329 Dec 3, 2020 @ 10:12am
suggestion- be able to make herbal meds from aloe vera
Tox Nov 28, 2020 @ 6:31pm
Looks like I'm not the only one who came down here looking to ask about aloe vera being useful
rashaverak Nov 24, 2020 @ 1:46pm
So I researched them and now I tried really hard to find any way how to plant them, but I did not find any. Is there any help even for such as me ?
Forgan_Meeman Nov 10, 2020 @ 11:00am
It would be cool if aloe could be used as a medieval suppliment for medicine
