works fine just d4 must be set to pump or valve on gas input

No longer works due to stable release of 0.2.2765.13581

Anyone got a copy of the new code? I've tried to update it myself but isn't working.

@Darspyro911 you can edit the code with the new smelting requirement and will keep working is very straitghtforward

Well the code no longer works since today's beta changed all smeltables to higher pressure and temperature

this works perfectly! Great job. Stellite was driving me bonkers to do manually.

Nice to see an advanced furnace do all on one IC and one dial. Makes it easy with no fuss when choosing what to smelt. Only issue I have had with it (besides some user errors). is when smelting stacks over 500. IE if your smelting 800 iron. It will dump the first 500, and then keep the second 300 inside. @Magic had a similar problem with the pressure ramping up. Turned out my fuel pipe got to hot and ignited the intake fuel. Seems the furnace had no clue what to do when it was inputting CO2/pollutants at 1500C and kept on dumping more of it into the furnace. Almost want to create a 2nd IC board that shuts off the first one. shuts off the intake and opens the output to full on the furnace to dump when the pressure gets over 40Mp.

ah... i had to manually set the input valve to 10 and enable the furnace once manually, after that it worked. Even though I dont know why...

Hi, I tried to build it, but I only get a red light, nothing happens and the furnace stays at 0 pressure / temperature. Input pressure is at 4MPa. It seems its never sucking in any fuel or trying to ignite. What am I doing wrong?

The soket says: "Error StackUnderFlow at line 109" (

mine ramped pressure to 55k and now it wont bleed, no matter what I do.

How is the output of the advanced furnace configured? Is there a passive vent outside? Does it vent into the pressurized room? Is there a back pressure valve on it?

Ok, so I loaded into the creative world, and straight up copied the design into my survival to be better safe than sorry.

It didn't work, for some reason it either can't vent itself properly(?), or the fuel tank is glitched. But I now have a bomb in my base that detonates no matter what I do, unfortunately.

If I've got a save where I haven't yet used the system, I can rip it out and build it in a remote facility, instead of in the middle of my base... But thanks for your help and responses. It's still a nice script, I just got fucked somehow...

Ok, I'll poke around the creative world and see what I can learn. Thanks, I'll let you know how it goes.

it's ok, this game is hard - but that's the fun :) Yes, you need to provide the furnace with ready-to-use fuel. Pressure in the pipe with fuel doesn't matter, at least it works fine for me in range from less than 1MPa to 5 MPa

I can't see your build, so I shared an example - a creative world with a prepared furnace just before the first launch. For sure this is not the best way to do this, a lot of things needs to be improved there... But as for example it's fine.

Also I noticed that in creative mode the tank with fuel actually has the wrong mixture, so I used rocket fuel tanks

TryCatch, the furnace is empty with no pressure or temp. When I turn it on, the input doesn't budge? Am I supposed to have something like a Gas Mixer on the fuel input? Room temp and pressure are below minimum... In the form of a hole in the ceiling... Every different thing I try just results in the fuel lines bursting, catching fire, then roasting me for dinner.

Sorry if this is annoying, I'm just trying to figure it all out before I make it in survival...

Bi-tioneer, it should input fuel when the temperature or pressure drops below the minimum - this design is based on the assumption that the furnace is constantly cooling down.

In general, it cycles through the stages:
1. Temperature or pressure too low - input fuel until both are above the maximum (required for the selected alloy). Otherwise, it will set the fuel consumption to 0.
2. Too much pressure - calculates exact amount of waste and pumps it out.
3. Waits for the furnace to cool below the minimum

So, I commented twice earlier and deleted them when I figured them out, but after setting up the adv furnace in Creative to test it and doing a single test run on Invar, it now won't input anymore fuel? But as far as I know, I haven't missed anything?
