I want the "delay" to be slightly longer, so you don't have to collect the items IMMEDIATELY, just, say, within one second of each other (so only for items in the same room)

This website is probably the best example imo of a shepard tone (sometimes the sound can take a bit too load and can be quite loud once it starts.)

basically shepard tones isn't when the notes simply increase, but loop around making it seem like theyre increasing infinitely

you have a max and min pitch and multiple notes playing at the same time, the closer a note is to either end the more you decrease its volume, so the notes start quiet and low, increase in pitch and volume to become noticeable, then when getting towards the high end they start to fade out, but because other notes are playing over them at the same time you dont notice them fading in and out and the whole thing seems to just go up forever

good example of this is mario 64 stairs music (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wp3rzAdwT8) done well enough that it works but not so well you cant notice the lower notes coming in to replace the higher ones

@Big Boss - maybe. You can chase this from the PITCH_INCREASE setting in the main.lua file. Probably 0.005 would work.

@Poke - it works with audio ids. This means that if you just changed the pickup sounds by replacing the sfx files, the mod will still work.

If the sound ids are different for some reason, you can replace them in the beginning of the main.lua file.
