It would probably be better if you could upgrade boroughs, but you can just use a mod to remove districts.
Could you add a switchable game mode to City Lights?
Something like the Urban Identities from Suk.
Specifically, only the original leaders show them. The original Cleopatra shows the Hetet, but not the variant and Ramses. Same for China, only original Qin and Kublai Khan shows the Ling Yi district.
India, Japan and France works their unique stuff properly on all civs.
I originally thought they weren't added to the leader at all, but if you play with them, they do show up in the Map Tack atleast.
Does this mod work with mods that add unique improvements like monopolies++ or JNR's bonus resources mod? I ask because the compatibility patch mentions specifically the wetland's mod unique improvements were made compatible.
* Add cross-Civilization District and Improvement adjacency bonuses
* Correct trait errors related to Egypt's special district
* Cothon Borough adjacencies are Gold instead of Food
* Correct miscellaneous adjacency errors
* Remove reference to the original City Park improvement; it no longer appears in the Civilopedia
* Adjacency bonuses now have text instead of placeholders
* Sukritact's Oceans: Artificial Reefs now gain a +2 Culture adjacency bonus from Kelp
@Albro feel free to include any of this in your mod if its to your liking.
For comparison, Harbor receive +/- Gold. I'm not sure why a Cothon would be different
Seems like there is either a bug or an error in the documentation:
Eleanor of Aquitaine (France) can build the arrondissement district in more than one city. The documentation here [docs.google.com] for France says the unique Elysee district can be built only once in the empire. The district in the documentation appears to be the same model ass the arrondissment, so I'm not sure if these are actually the same asset and it's currently not behaving as documented, or if the arrondissement isn't documented.
