I've played several playthroughs with none of the "Unhandled Exception" errors I was getting before. Seems to be working fine.
Would you consider adding one more to this? I would love to see luxury cars as an option, perhaps gained through a great merchant such as Henry Ford, Kiichiro Toyoda, or Béla Barényi.
Anyway, I decided not to update this until NFP is done. Just last patch they reworked amenities again, and we're expecting them to rework resources once they introduce Industries & Corporations (likely in the next DLC). I'm a new modder and therefore I'm slow. It's better I wait until they're done adding stuff and then make my mod fit the final product.
I'm fairly confident I'll be able to simplify the mod once I get back to it, since they're addressing many of the issues I was also aiming at. NFP has made ECs more important, amenities are finally in the right spot, and some policies have just been reworked to make ~15 Pop cities something to aim for (and therefore food and housing).
I tested it and it comes only when this mod is activated. Maybe you could look into it?
So the update coming tomorrow (27/08) will completely break the mod since it considerably changes how amenities work. I'll restart work on it this weekend.
These changes might be for the better. The less I need to mod myself, the more stable I can expect it to be.
I have experienced the error as well. Then I didn't. Then I experienced it with other mods. Then I searched online and was informed that crashes like this have become more common since the last patch. This sucked because I couldn't be certain if the problem was on my end or what exactly to focus on.
The worst part is... there's nothing wrong with the code! All the changes I made to the tables were supposedly "legal".
Anyway, the next patch will allow me to simplify the mod. I'll update again once it's done!

I was running Leugi's city styles mod too and sukritact ui ajustments, but I think your mod did it since those other ones are purely aesthetic.

When googling the issue, mod-conflict don't really come up (so I messed with drivers, verified file integrity, etc.) but I realized afterward that if this mod is deactivated, the error doesn't occur, so it must not be playing well with one of my other 100 mods. I'll troubleshoot more in the future though because this does look like a very fun concept all-around!
