@ozfresh MIT here refers to the MIT License, a permissive open source license that basically lets you do whatever you want, as long as you give credit.

Too many things have changed to make this an easy update. Infact, with the newest DLC, most of what this mod offered is now available with no mods. Not all, but mostly...

Plus, I think the Androids mod itself included something similar.

Either way, this won't be updated. Code is MIT, so feel free to whatever.

had to unsub from this mod cause war droids are accepted at threat level 0 anda single one can take 40 critical wounds on day three. let me know when the threatlevel is fixed and ill resubscribe thanks.

I made patch for 1.3 that seems to work fine except for the "start crafting" menu on the drone printer.

I just asked at the source. The Creator of this mod will by all chances not update. There is no work in progress. No timeframe.
That might change, but right now it is rather clear. So you better start looking for reuploaded or contuinued versions.

Let me know if you find any.

Seems like this issue was fixed by the uploader of the "androids expanded (continued)", linked by the commenter. However, that one doesn't work with the "archotech droids" mod, which requires this one as a dependency. If I may request, solve these errors on this mod.

Concerning that annoying "social events never end" bug: any idea when this will be fixed? My pawns are having parties all the time, making microing any droids into crypto caskets every time it happens a real chore. I was planning my next colony completely around (an)droids, but this bug pretty much kills that for the moment :-(.

What this mod adds: a race of large Purple Box people who never sleep, some are really big purple box people that acts as a mobile turret.

I looked through the errors that people (myself included) were getting, and the author's source code. It appears that the errors on startup are not actually due to HAR getting updated, but the Rimworld core itself. For example, "Prosthophobe" is the old name for Body Purist, "CabinFever" is a moodlet that has been removed, and "SmokepopBelt" has been renamed to "Apparel_SmokepopBelt" in the code.

I've fixed those errors by renaming or removing the items as necessary, here:

However I haven't gotten to the point in my current playthrough where I actually make the droids, so I can't guarantee that the mod works. If there are any other problems that need fixing, or (hopefully not) any new problems, just let me know... somehow. I've no clue how steam works. >_<

Per the mod author's comments further back, it sounds like these errors are because HAR has been updated since the last version of this mod, and maybe some cross references aren't quite working.

That said, it doesn't appear to be an issue. I just completed a play through with a heavy mod list and the upgraded droids all work fine, including and up to in space with SOS2, and even traveling to a new planet.

@cherryrye If you make a local copy of Androids Expanded and load that instead of the Steam WS version, you can manually replace the texture files for the basic droid and battle droid with original mod textures.

Updated fabricator, but I swapped back to original droid textures.

Just so you know : If you got some drugs use daily, drones will try to consume it.
Just had a drone trying to drink tea because his drugs policie was on social, that include one garden each day.

@Ryn Either they keep themselves charged by draining the nearest appliance, draining what appear to be 2/3 of a fully charged vanilla battery, or they use the battery packs automatically when low similar to colonists eating food.

@NECEROS Hello. I would like to fix mode. Right now i see several problems with defs:
Could not resolve cross-reference to RimWorld.ThoughtDef named CabinFever (wanter=cannotReceiveThoughts)

And several others. As i understand - no specified traits in droids XML files, but adding it does not solved the problem. Can you give any tips on what i should do?

We are using HAR's framework. But it's been updated (along with Harmony) and this mod is running behind the upgrades. They are easy fixes. I've no doubt it's just been optimized and some of the references have changed.

If someone wishes to fix this then go for it.

Just throwing an idea out there for anyone looking to update this. Robots++ is a mod that adds things almost identical to the uni-tasker drones. Might be a good place to look as to how to improve functionality and such. See if you can contact the author. As for the Advanced Droids it might be worth it to utilize the Alien Frame work library and just make them custom clothing and set it to nothing but like a belt slot for shields and make some custom armor items for them.

Definitively the drones. I just made a pawn prioritise constructing and they are actually building the furniture without me forcing them to do so.
