Other players on the server also need to have the music addon loaded in order to hear songs from it.
Yes, but they also need to have the mod and song extensions loaded.
Hey, glad you are liking the mod! To detach the radio from your player character you need to look directly down (since the radio is attached on characters stomach) and use interaction menu (not self interaction), then use the detach from object option.
As for the second question. Yes, you need to restart the game each time you change the song extension, it is so because arma needs to load the extension mod again to be aware of the changes you made.
Hmm, I'm not gonna lie, the audio control is totally jank. Try lowering the distance setting to a smaller value, like 50 instead of default 200, and check if it helps. It seems like distance isn't just some simple sound falloff modifier and affects the total volume in weird ways so lowering the distance might actually fix the volume issue.
No currently it's not possible
Hey, did you check whether the songs from song pack work in singleplayer? For example in Eden editor? The mod should work the same in multiplayer, that's how I used it.
Hmm, It worked for me, did you wait a little? As far as I remember antistasi updates arsenal in intervals, though it might depend on antistasi version. Does the radio appear in arsenal but is just not infinite? Or does it not appear at all? Remember to check misc item tab instead of the actual "radio" item tab in the arsenal. If it appears but is not infinite you could just add some crazy amount of it like 999 to arsenal and leave it like that.
Thnks!!
Compatibility with FM radio has been fixed :)
Using it as a script would be possible, but it would require fiddling with adding custom actions to your jukebox, since this mod depends on ace to provide interactive functionalities and does so by using a custom class for the music player with all the interactions defined.
I think that a simplest solution would be to put the music player object inside of your jukebox object in the scenario. Then disable music player's simulation (so it doesn't collide with jukebox and stays inside of it) and then use attachTo to attach music player to the jukebox object from inside. Call like this: radio attachTo [jukebox]; should suffice to keep it inside. After doing this you should be able to access music player's interaction options through jukebox's model. It's a janky solution I know 😅 but it works well.
I've updated the song extension creator, the new version is still janky but offers graphical interface, and an ability to adjust song volume and their hearable distance. Additionally song extensions can now be made to work with both Acoustic guitar mod and Pocket music player mod at the same time! In case you would not want certain extensions to be used by one of the mods you can choose so in the tool.
If you encounter any issues please let me know, the old versions of the tool are still available in case you would prefer to use them.
I'll stay tunned
Oh crap it totally fell out of my backlog, yeah it shouldn't be a problem, It's a couple of lines on my end so I'll take a look. Sorry about that.
@Echo
Thanks for confirmation, it's an engine issue afaik so not fixable on my end.
What about that "FM Radio" fix...? Will it be possible?
Hey, there. You can try using a cheat console, like NSS Admin console for example to start up zeus without restrictions imposed by Antistasi. If the radio is still not visible in the storage dialog window of container spawned this way, you can try an alternative method, which is using NSS console to open an unrestricted virtual arsenal. Give yourself like 50 of Pocket music players and put them all in the arsenal provided by Antistasi. The mission will need a second before it adds music players as infinite to the arsenal. After that they should show up as infinite in the antistasi arsenal. You can remove NSS admin console from your modpack after you do this.
I've used the above methods to add uniforms provided by an unsupported mod to antistasi arsenal and unlocking them as infinite.
Thanks for the kind words about the mod
Tnks for the feedback!
Yep, both are normally loaded, the "FM Radio" option just don't appear in the interaction
About the "Arma Radio" mod, they've changed it's name to "Live Radio (Beta)", so there maybe has been a change os codes too....
Hope you can keep it up with it, it's a very nice feature! =)
I'll check it out later in my game to see if the issue persists.
Arma3 radio does not work at all right now. Let me know when this is working!
I would love to help you get it working. I am also an engineer and producer. I would be more than happy to license some of my music for the radio.
No idea what the error is.
