@Tanglewoods57 I had the same issue. Importantly, the plane that wasn't coming back was one that had been built before the update, which I suspect is the issue. I was able to resolve it by deleting it and respawning it and it seems to work now.

@Tanglewoods57 also there is an issue with the main mod that if you bomb run a setlement and destroy it and try to land on it, the map gets deleted when the plane tries to land again and you loose the pilots and the aircraft, i cant do anything about that, the only way to prevent that if send a scout aircraft or caravan first before bombing and keep them inside the map until bomber craft is at base

Going to need a little more tinkering with the mod. Planes don't come back after bombing. good mod though

@电脑玩家某尔康 load them take off ,select objetive( must be a city or point of interest)and you will get a bomb run button then inside you can select the direction and bomb placement.

UPDATE: Updated to work with the newest version of SRTS Expanded (continued), old saves may loose the already built aircrafts, also all inflight pawns will be deleted, removed 1.4 and 1.5 support sorry!

NOTICE: updating the mod to the new SRTS Expanded (continued) update will take some time (a week maybe?) so to continue using this mod download legacy version of SRTS from GitHub (1.6Legacy):

also be WARNED that support for 1.4 and 1.5 will be dropped on the next update.

The update will take long because of the changes to fuel, range and some other things that will make me have to redo all the aircrafts balance and some of the code (75 aircrafts) so be patient.

The recent update of SRTS Expanded (continued) broke this mod and threw a lot of errors. The following are some of the errors I intercepted, the content is roughly the same.

Config error in Bf110C7a: There's no CompLaunchable
Config error in Bf110C7a: CompProperties_Transporter.max1PerGroup is false
Config error in Bf110C7a: shipDef is null
Config error in Bf110C7a: consumeFuelOnlyWhenUsed is true and it generates power (infinite power source)
Config error in Bf110C7a: There's no CompLaunchable

Due to SRTS expanded being reworked and updated as of today, this mod doesn't work anymore. None of my planes can load cargo or anything.

Really cool mod just having an issue where my "caravans" cant hold more than 1 or 2 bombs with a large bomber, using 120 lbs bombs, any idea how to change this?

Update: probably fixed the dds issues and reduced size drastically ( there was files leftover by steam not updating correctly last time. if you still have texture problems, delete the mod enterely go to steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2164607079\ <--- detele this last folder and resub

@冒頓單于terroriser @maxvmaxvmax now it happened to me after reinstalling all mods, to fix until i release a update (that i hope delete them) just delete the .DDS files on the mod, to do this go to steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2164607079\textures

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3558774065 , it may be a incompatibility with other mod that Has an "AVROVULCAN" texture or maybe if you guys use rympi or Rimsort texture optimizations after the last rimworld update it breaks some textures and have to delete all dds files to fix. anyway i cant reproduce what you guys say so itso n your end. if you have a look on that picture im suffering from that same bug but on the androids mod after the update, so its totally random.

Oh so the Aerocraft framework is not needed at all? My bad then, some other aircraft mods depend on it and they are all currently not working (because the framwork is not updated)

@Author, I'm sorry to be pain in your ass, but you can absolute reduce the size. The absolute simplest solution to just move your Texture folder from 1.6-1.4 to the central space will already cut your size to 1/3. That step takes 30 seconds, and the mod will run just fine.

@bunx2021 thats how the mod/game works, cant reduce more the size, the base tex bombing and flying textures are needed, you can remove the version folders you're not using manually if you want, nothing breaks.

I noticed the mod is almost 4gb, I was wondering what's up with that so I took a look through your Mod folder, and I found the same texture folder reused for each version (1.4, 1.5, 1.6) why not just create a central texture folder and draw from that?
You'd instantly cut the size by 2/3s, further more, I noticed a lot of your textures just duplicate for every type of action, having Base textures + Active texture + bombing textures + flying textures.
+ duplicate for each with a .dds file.

Any plans to take that in mind? since you could merge a lot of the textures into one, as they are virtually the same apart from resolution variation.

FOR Rimpy users: For whatever reason i don't undertand on rimpy the mod sill asks for old SRTS dont worry just load it after SRTS Expanded (continued) and it will work. :rfacepalm:
