Mostly works, but will massive fuck up when the faction has a black ark - i,e Lorkhir and Malus. Also, shame that there's no way to move hordes.

He answered in another mod regarding map painter, apparently it depends on a web app that wasn't working yet as of late August. Whether it's working yet I have no idea. This is definitely my #1 mod from TW2 that I can't wait for in TW3.

Install prop joe's console commands mod for best results: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2094338970

With the mod installed you can use the "export map" command, this will produce a "map_out.json" file in your WH2 game folder which you can import in the web app. So if you do an export on turn one all factions that are present on the map should appear in the web app, they will have the db keys as their name.

I will try adding the modded factions soon :)

I have just a request : Can you tell me who can I join to speak about add some factions on the app please?
Because actually I'm playing with a lot of mod, and some factions are not on the app... Like :
- Tobaro (from Cataph's Southern Realm)
- Bregonne
- Mask of Loec (from Mixu's LL2)
And from OvN Lost Factions :
- Blood Dragon
- Rotblood Tribe
- Harbingers of Doom
- Servants of Fimulneid
- Grudgebringers
So currently when I use this mod, all this faction are destroyed...

Just tried this mod having moved Von Carstein faction to Castle Drakenhof, did all the instructions and when i ran the game they still appeared in their original position.

Yet again one of my favourite factions is in the wrong start off region :( :(

I just updated the app and added the new factions. Make sure to export with prop joe's console tool and then import for best results. Since certain turn one scripts might results in different starting positions. This also works if the map hasn't been updated yet.

Saphirre is right, the map at https://imrz.github.io/tww2-map-painter/ is missing the new factions (Ghosts of Pahaux and Ironbrow's Expedition; the Slaughterhorn Tribe and the other Beastmen factions should be fine, since none of them starts with a herdstone).

Yes, it work, what I meant it's we currently can't play against the new factions (Pahuax and Thorek) because they don't exist on the app. For Taurox it might be ok because it's an hord. Thank in advance :)

So i dont know how this happened but i used your mod and it has changed the map on the all campagins without the app running... and even after unstalling and reinstalling i cant get rid of the changed map from my game.

thx for your work, this is one of the most important mods on the workshop in my opinion.
I wrote a program to shuffle the json completely. But for the corruption dependent factions this is a bit of struggle at the beginning. So my question is: is it possible to change the corruption of every settlement dependent on the ownership after the map is loaded maybe by a separate button?
I would try to write the script on my own, but I have no experience in lua at all.

Is there anyway to mitigate the issue of spawning Vampire factions in regions with very low vampire corruption. I love setting up map scenarios where the start date has borders defined by factions. But every AI Vampire faction loses all there territory within 5 turns due to lack of corruption?

if a faction's army is outside it's borders I don't teleport that army (I'll probably change that, seemed like a good idea at the time)

you can move them or teleport them using my console commands mod (and that mod is also very good for testing stuff)

Thanks for the response, I thanked and talked to him a bit! My apologies for not reading the mod description properly before.

Also, I think I found a bug. It seems that sometimes the armies of Azhag, Sisters of Twilight, and Moulder don't teleport to their new locations.

More details, if it helps:I removed most factions and moved the remaining ones to the badlands, and filled the world with a faction that I made immune to diplomacy(Exiles of Nehek). But those 3 factions' armies didnt move from their old turf to their new homes. Other armies all teleported successfully- except Dreadfleet still has their fleet at its original location. That may be intended since it's a fleet so maybe you have different teleportation rules for that?

Let me know if you want more details to make bugfixing easier. I can also just run tests for you if you want, I've done that for a living before lol, isnt a problem for me.

It depends, this mod uses the scripting interface to transfer regions to factions. And I guess there are certain checks on whether a faction is allowed to have a region or not. For example, you can't give rogue armies or rebels regions it seems.

But if you spawn a rogue army or rebel near a settlement, in-game it can take over the region.
