I'm not seeing any errors now or when I updated this mod . The 1.4 defs are fine for 1.6 (as well 1.5) as nothing has really changed in regards to what this mod is doing. It's almost certainly some conflict with some other mod, which I'm not going to be able to troubleshoot without knowing what that mod is and what the errors are, assuming that the issue isn't just with what the other mod is doing.

Please fix your mod errors, rather than just adding a 1.6 tag to them. You put a tag on them, but never checked it for throwing errors, with the last def folder being for 1.4.

Yes, this mod is just more carpet colors. Otherwise, it's the same carpet as vanilla.
ziplock9000 Mar 21, 2023 @ 12:07pm
So it's just one carpet but different colours right?

Thank you so much!

I didn't think there would be much interest in this mod given the reworked carpet colors in 1.4, but nevertheless I have updated this mod to work with 1.4. Enjoy!

Will this be updated to 1.4?

Done, here's a mod that adds some new colors for regular carpets: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2584294337

I may have to do just that (a version with normal carpets). I haven't done it as I felt it would be redundant with the excellent "Carpets of the Rainbow", but that mod hasn't updated for 1.3 as of yet.

Seconding a request for a version with the normal carpets. I really like the colors you picked.

Any chance of a version for Ideology? I just realised Hex and Morbid carpets don't come in green for bedrooms....

Glad you like it. I never bothered with a mod for regular carpets as I just used the "[FSF] Carpets of the Rainbow" mod. However, I see that mod has been discontinued (though it appears to still work). Hmm..

could you make a mod for regular carpet too?

i like my mods to be basic and unintrusive to the vanilla game and its balance i appreciate this mod very much ty

Ok, it's done. Sorry about the delay. I added emerald and grey carpets. I had tried a dark grey before but was never happy with the way it worked with the pattern, so this is more of a middle grey.
ReeferDude666 Jan 24, 2021 @ 11:47pm
A dark grey wouldn't hurt if you can work it with the pattern. Dark green & maybe even like a emerald green too.

Thanks. Adding new colors is relatively easy. Any suggestions? I kind of feel it's missing a dark green myself.
BardicDiceRoller Jan 13, 2021 @ 10:27am
Wondering if there's any intention to add more colors in the future. I like this, and thankful that you have done this.

Ah, glad you were able to figure it out. I don't have a Github repository, but that's a good idea. I'll make one next week when I can access the mod files.
Delafere Jul 24, 2020 @ 9:46am
Do you have a github repo for this mod? I've got nothing but time, so I've made a bunch more colors including two greens and a black (well, a very very dark gray)- I'd love to make a fork so you could add them if you want!
ToddEStan  [author] Jul 20, 2020 @ 4:31pm
You're welcome. I actually tried adding black, but the fine carpet pattern texture didn't show up with black coloring so it just looked like plain black carpet, so it would have to be a grayish carpet. A dark green is a good idea, though I'm out of town for a few weeks so I won't have a chance to work on it.

Amazing and much needed mod. Thank you very much! Do you have any plans to add green and black? I need them for my Cthulhu royal cult. :D
ToddEStan  [author] Jul 5, 2020 @ 7:53pm
The new colors are available under the fine carpets menu with the vanilla colors (indigo, etc.) once you have done the required research.
Think3r Jul 5, 2020 @ 5:13am
Thanks. Can the new colors be chosen from a context menu?
ToddEStan  [author] Jul 1, 2020 @ 5:23am
Thanks, I had put Royalty as required in the mod itself but didn't realize the workshop tracked that separately.

To answer your question, yes this is a pure XML mod.
Think3r Jul 1, 2020 @ 12:56am
Also, is this a pure XML mod?
Think3r Jul 1, 2020 @ 12:54am
You should add the Royalty DLC as required item on the Steam workshop.
