Thanks for this mod! IMO this is the most impactful cosmetic mod out there, so much better than the goofy vanilla sounds.

Found the issue, it was camera+. If anyone else has the distant sound issue, try uninstalling that

Hello! I've had this issue with weapon sound replacement mods in the past before, where the firing sound is only the very far away echoing one, regardless of how close the camera is to the person firing. Not sure if its this mod causing it, chucking the question here in case someone else has had this problem

Excellent, I must say I like these sounds more than "Enhanced Combat Sounds" as these are a little less harsh.

Having a similar issue to xTRACKERx, the sounds are very quiet and distant no matter how close I zoom in to the shooter.

Yup, there was a demo video, but it was deleted due to being outdated to the mod, and I haven't done a new one yet.

is there a video that shows off the sounds? I'd really like to try this out but it takes almost 5 minutes to boot up rimworld and adding this mod just to find out I dont like it and remove it is a pain in the butt. I'd rather not waste a ton of time just to hear the sounds

Added new sounds for grenade explosion for VWE mod's smoke grenade, flash grenade and toxic grenade. Also I changed some old sounds and changed volume of some sounds, should be good now.

@Chicago Ted, bruh. Then try to unsubscribe of the mod, reboot steam, and then again subscribe to the mod. If that didn't help, maybe you should place the mod vice versa - at a higher place in a modlist...

It's as low as it can be, just above mods like rocketman and perfomance analyzer. All the other weapons work just the minigun doesn't.

@Chicago Ted, try to place the mod next to bottom of your modlist. I launched rim with only this mod and new minigun sound worked for me, maybe in your case a patch got overwritten.

@[BMC]Kir;o, you can only delete some xml lines in the mod's files which do replacing sounds of turrets.

mods' folder of rimworld > 2147296730 (id of this mod) > Patches > I3CS_Vanilla_Weapon_Sounds > then delete all lines between "  "

I'm sorry, make options by C# is an unaffordable luxury for me.

1.3 update. Fixed loudness of sounds of turrets acquiring their targets and loudness of sniper turret shooting.

I'm sorry about such loud sounds of Portal turrets and shot of sniper turret, I guess, I tested the sounds with low volume in the game far ago, now should be ok.
