This mission would be interesting but at present it's way too difficult, to the point of being completely unplayable. The enemy is way too difficult to cope with.

Finished it right now and damn this was so good to play mate! What an amazing conclusion to an amazing story! The climax got me by surprise(and it was a really good one too) and I made a decision that I hoped was for the greater good. As always perfect enemy placements with strategic importance which made playing with stealth a must for me. The sandstorm part was a bit "hard" and I had to reload a bit but it nonetheless was quite fun and atmospheric. I am really eager to see your future works such as this gem here. 11/10!

I can thus understand that this type of gameplay can be frustrating for some people, I'm sorry for that if this was your feeling while playing it, but most of these things that made it to the final result were intended, even for the gameplay part.

I can understand your frustration. "The Aftermath" is a conclusion mission, so the difficulty is very high and the lack of means available to the player is also intended (In order to make the player understand the desperation of the situation, also in connection with the story).

In terms of visibility, the goal was essentially set to make the player advance using the few means at his disposal as flashlight, moving from cover to cover, chemlights etc. The gameplay was thus intended to be more tactical/stealth more than a simple rush.

However, in terms of AI, it is more complex because there are things that I can control like its accuracy or the objects emplacements that will be used as cover on the way to help the player. But there are also things that I don't have control over at all like its visibility during sandstorm or while being into the fog, which can be horrible for the player as you mentionned it.

How did you supposed us to play this? Make scenario during night and turn on sand storn. Conditions which not allowing to see anything at all! Especially without nvg (with nvg as well). By the way, AI bots seems like see everything perfectly and shooting me over and over! After completing first mission, message "few hours later" appears and suddenly enemy attacks your position right away without giving player a minute for rearm and reequip. After all I had to save/load many times after each lucky step to complete this. Most frustrating scenario ever, in spite of perfectly designed atmosphere. Seems like authors thoughts was 95% about atmosphere and 5% about gameplay. Previous missions of this series was much better and more playable.

Hey !! That's really odd indeed... I know that there is a save issue where people get stuck on the save screen for several minutes, but yours is kinda different. To be honest I don't really know where it comes from, so I'll see what I can do to fix this.

great work its really engaging but i can not load my progress for some reason, im not great at these games so i get stuck ha ha. i went to load it back up an i have to start it over again.
is this normal ? i dont think i had a mod running as well as this so i loaded up arma 3 with no mods

hey man, i have a suggestion, if anyone is having troubles with their saves, use FileTX instead (something like that), it's a mod that externally saves the game files and you can play with mods that won't corrupt the save, only a few of scenarios use this because this needs to be strictly implemented by the developer but it's really good, missions such as vindicta use it and after even a clean reinstall of the game the files stay

I did enter the oval around the back because I walked to see if the rendezvous points had anything, that might be why. the survivor was Jay Brown who joined my team after finding him

Some units are invisible depending the area (in order to optimize the mission while the player is away). What you encountered means that the trigger area didn't recognize you as a player wiich is odd. Have you played the mission with mods activated? I already made some changes about this issue but some mods are still persistent.
For the end, If you choose to escape, then you're the only one survivor. No one should be alive with you

Then a smaller non-issue was I got a survivor then did the boat escape and it still said 1 survivor rather than two.

I was fighting within the oval when I hit a spot I could not beat. A team leader and two auto riflemen were obliterating me. I go into Zeus after like 15 tries and they are invisible. And then up ahead were more invisable units sitting waiting to pounce. Not all units were like this but man, that needs to be fixed :jarate:

This scorpion sign is in fact the flag of the Viper team, which is a special force unit. Also, the red ? means that we don't have any info about what you will find in this area.

I killed eveyone but could not find the laptop. Can somebody pls tell me where it is located. I have been trying since last an hour
