To my knowledge you cannot. It's funny that you kind of WANT your shoes to get holes in them because otherwise you stomp too much and they break forever.
mentalmen000 Nov 14 @ 8:45pm
How do I repair shoes? I'm at max tailoring and my shoe condition can't go up since there's pretty much no hole?.
badatthis Nov 10 @ 6:40am
That's perfect, thanks!
Johnny Dollar  [author] Nov 10 @ 6:29am
@badatthis
RepairAnyMod (Which only works on b41 and will be outphased in b42) is for popular clothes mods such as AuthenticPeach and Stalker gear etc.
If you're only using vanilla clothes in B41, you only need "Repair Any Clothes".
Hope this explains it well enough for you :)
badatthis Nov 8 @ 3:00pm
I'll try running "RepairAnyClothes" and "RepairAnyMod". I *think* you need both for B41.
badatthis Nov 8 @ 11:21am
The Mod ID's confuse me.

RepairAnyClothesOld is for an outdated version of B41? Or is it for B41?
RepairAnyClothes is for B42 AND B41 or is B41 the above ID?
RepairAnyMod has two entries here but one or both is needed for B41?

Thanks for a great mod though! I've enjoyed it immensely as a player and look forward to using it on my server.

@Ġedryht of Wōden
Just tested, and yes!
Absolutely works with Interactive Tailoring :)
Ġedryht of Wōden Oct 18 @ 2:32am
Is this compatible with Interactive Tailoring?
🪻ThatGoatThing🪻 Oct 17 @ 10:33pm
Does this mod work for Spongie's Clothes?
Bigdann777 Sep 29 @ 9:26pm

Bigdann777 Sep 28 @ 11:40pm
question is the patch hole the repair and then after lvl 8 tail, the cond. will be 100%??
Zara ♡ Sep 26 @ 8:18am
They should pay you to add this to vanilla lol. This is one of my must haves
Johnny Dollar  [author] Sep 26 @ 6:53am
@Blue
You're very welcome.
Enjoy! :)
Blue Sep 26 @ 6:28am
Ohh i found the another mod from you, thank you so much !!! i can fix my random clothes/armor to protect myself !! You're the best at maker a Mod !! ( sorry for bad grammar ) -Blue
Johnny Dollar  [author] Sep 26 @ 6:20am
@Falka
Already talked about in description, waiting for B42 to become more stable.
It's a small error and means nothing.

@Blue
The disabled / red mod is for b41 only and is not needed in b42.
You only need the one called "Repair Any Clothes" in B42.
Hope that helps, otherwise, I can't tell you why yours doesn't work.
Blue Sep 26 @ 12:39am
can you update that mod, that mod is disabled in build42, i trying telling you or i don't want find another mod like " Repair Any Clothes " because i like that mod for reason, thank you for understanding, Johnny Dollar. -Blue
Falka Sep 24 @ 3:43pm
There is a script error in "RepairAnyClothes.lua" at line 18 because the "NbrOfCoveredParts" seems to be nil. That is what the debug mode is telling me.

In debug mode you can press F11 to see lua scripts and script errors and you can reload them too.

Ah ok, I'm new to the game and since I saw that when I repair clothes my neck hurts it seemed strange to me, anyway thanks for your time
Johnny Dollar  [author] Sep 17 @ 6:35am
@DOG1804
The pain in your neck is a B42 vanilla thing added for immersion, not from this mod.
Devs might change it later on, who knows.

The protection scales with your tailoring level, also a vanilla thing completely untouched by this mod.
When you level tailoring to 10 you get a very good protection percentage boost from leather patches.

Hope this info helped you out.
DOG1804 Sep 16 @ 11:07pm
I'm using Interactive Tailoring and Clothing Protection: Rebalanced along with this mod and I don't know if it's a bug in this one or another, but when repairing clothes I get very tired on my neck and the patches give 1% or 2% protection.

@Crazy Steve
I've never had issues adding the mod to existing save games.
Not on B42 either.
But I've never tried the B42 multiplayer mod, so please let us know if you could add it with no problems :)
Crazy Steve Aug 28 @ 7:12pm
im playing with the multiplayer mod on b42 from nexus and im just wondering if you can normally add this mod into a play-through on say a solo world with no issues
Seeker Jul 25 @ 1:34pm
Hey, because I have 4 IDs. What is the difference between each one?

Mod ID: RepairAnyClothesOld
Mod ID: RepairAnyClothes
Mod ID: RepairAnyMod
Mod ID: RepairAnyMod
SDgamer Jul 6 @ 1:51pm
The Armored Vest from Vanilla Gear Expanded can't be repaired. If you can could you please add support for that mod?

MVP !
AvA Jun 19 @ 5:56am
@sdgamer If youd read the description it says it is compatible with Authentic Z......
SDgamer Jun 11 @ 8:37am
Only since they gun who made some armor mods work with your mod is sadly out of the modding scene, can you please add support to some of the armor mods people are using right now like Authentic Z and Vanilla Gear Expanded?

The Mod i'm talking about (sad this guy isn't around anymore): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2984301200&searchtext=repair+any
Kar33a Jun 7 @ 8:40am
Sorry to bother you, how should I use this mod? I have a needle, but there is no additional option for right clicking on clothes. Do I need a skill level requirement
Dr.Revenge Jun 2 @ 7:36am
I'm using two mods: Spongie's clothing and Spongie's open jackets. They add some new clothes and variants of those that exist in vanilla.
Johnny Dollar  [author] Jun 2 @ 7:03am
@Doktor
Most likely another mod interfering.
What is the clothes you're trying to repair called?
Since b42 is getting better and more stable, I haven't been playing b41 for a long time, and focus has been shifted to make mods ready for b42.
Dr.Revenge Jun 2 @ 5:44am
I'm playing on b41, and I have both main and sub mods installed and turned on. So you're saying some other mod could be stopping me from repairing modded clothing? Or does it mean that spongie's mods are incompatible with yours?
Johnny Dollar  [author] Jun 1 @ 2:47pm
@Doktor
Hey Doktor, if you're playing b41 make sure to enable the submod called "repair any mod"
If you're playing on b42, then you only need "repair any clothes"
If it's not working on b42, then you probably have another mod breaking it for you, sadly.
Dr.Revenge Jun 1 @ 10:05am
Hello sir mod creator. Awesome idea!! I am however having a small issue trying to repair clothing from spongie's clothing mods. If it's not just me, I wanted to know if you plan on adding compatability with spongie's mods. Thank you in advance, have a nice day
Johnny Dollar  [author] May 10 @ 6:33am
@Nepenthe
Hey Nepenthe, love your mods!
The errors I've experienced get thrown in main menu, and only in b41.
Currently busy with work and family, and waiting for b42 to be less unstable, but thank you so much for your input and taking a look.

What I find the most frustrating is that I got the mod working in b41, then in b42 it throws errors, but it still works completely as intended... and then I didn't have enough time to go back and left it since it was working fine, but complaining when launching the game.
Nepenthe May 10 @ 5:53am
I don't know why, but Corset_Jill from AuthenticZ Lite causes a Java exception when getCoveredPartCount is called... this isn't a problem with this mod but rather this mod picking up on a weird problem another mod has.

My "fix" was to add item:getName() ~= "Corset_Jill" to the code to avoid trying to see if it can be made repairable.

I assume there are other similar problems with other modded items that are the reason this mod triggers errors.
Banjo37 May 7 @ 9:19am
Nevermind my bad i think that the general unstableness of having a lot of mods was the issue. I thought it was this because of the errors sorry
Johnny Dollar  [author] May 7 @ 7:38am
Yes, it still throws an error, but works with no problems.
b42 just loves to complain about everything haha.
steamgames.khim May 7 @ 7:29am
does this mod still throw an error that can be ignored?
Johnny Dollar  [author] May 7 @ 7:16am
Well there you go.
Never had a crash on my end running about 200 different mods on b42, so please narrow down which mods causes conflicts :)
Banjo37 May 6 @ 5:16pm
But i did also have a lot of other mods
Banjo37 May 6 @ 5:14pm
For me this mod was crashing my game after around 30 min of playtime consistently
Razor SKINS Apr 21 @ 7:55am
This mod really gives a good reason to level up tailoring.
Johnny Dollar  [author] Apr 3 @ 11:49pm
@Flexible Games
It can, yes.
After level 8 tailoring you fully repair a hole when patching with correct material.
This will restore full original protection to the clothing item.
Flexible Games Apr 3 @ 11:28pm
A zombie looks at me funny and my brand new bullet-proof vest has a hole in it, does this repair to full bite and scratch protection? Is it even possible?
sunday league god Mar 21 @ 7:49pm
what mods are known for breaking this? (i have a ton of mods installed)
Johnny Dollar  [author] Mar 18 @ 3:44am
@GXTV
I haven't had any problems, so yeah I bet :)
