unfortunately no. that would require two 4x0.5 blocks and pieces size can only be increased through XML edits.
If you wanted an 8x1 you'd have to mod the block yourself and put it in game, but that wouldn't be workshop-compatible unless the vehicle subscribers also downloaded that mod. There is a discord server on that topic called SMF (stormworks modding forum) but I've never experimented with that before.
@willer you can construct a 6x9 inverse pyramid with the 2x3 inverse pyramids stacked in a 6x9 configuration ;)
