Council Guard are notoriously mute, either by some mutation or because they are biologically incapable because of severed tongues, etc. This is so that they are physically incapable of giving any of the Council's secrets to anyone. Not that they would, Council Guard are freakishly loyal, even by non-skaven standards. Some theorize their fear of the Council is so tremendous they would never betray them even to their own death, and that this fear is so intense it is what caused their fur to turn white. Though it is more commonly accepted that Skaven must be born with Albino fur as to be inducted into the Council Guard in the first place.

More sources than these exist! Just a couple to get you started. Pretty neat they had ror specific lines though.

"unloreful"?? Where was it stated that the council guard didn't speak. Sounds pretty neat! :)

Thanks for the comments. Should be working now.

I get a crash as well, and I found this mod to be the culprit after 30 minutes of disabling mods

Just tested it by itself and it still crashes

Anybody else having a crash with this mod after the update? Even with just it and the Skyre shockvermin it crashes on load.
Using KMM by the way

Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to change Alith Anar's voice to that of The Hand of the Shadow Crown and how hard will it be to acomplish?
Rostropovich Jul 21, 2020 @ 8:49am
Yeah, I could very well be wrong on the script front - realized that the caps mod I'm currently using (Unit Rarity) works differently from the more script-based Table Top Caps I was using previously.

Given how Unit Rarity works and what you described, I think a compatibility issue could potentially make sense?

@Rostropovich
Glad to hear you're enjoying the mods!
It seems unlikely that this mod would have any reason to mess with unit caps, but I suppose its not out of the realm of possibility. This mod is 99.9999% copy/paste of the main_units_tables, and land_units_tables sections in the data file, where most of the units stats and references are kept. Stuff like unit caps wouldn't be kept there as far as I know, but eh, could be. It def. shouldn't mess up scripts.

It does indeed boot up fine now, thanks, though through this little hiccup I found that this mod is responsible for breaking scripts in my ongoing game. The unit caps mod I have installed wasn't working, then taking this mod out fixed it... then putting it back in just now after the fix broke it again.

Running a bucketload of mods so not unlikely there's an incompatibility in there somewhere.

Regardless, many thanks for the various Skaven mods. Running around the Elf-donut in a Skryre campaign right now and making good use of the RoRs and shockvermin.

@Rostropovich
Apologies, I was fiddling with it trying to work on a SFO version and uploaded it without realizing I broke it. Should be back to good now. Sorry for the quick inconvenience.

No idea why this would be, but after the recent update to this mod my game is crashing on startup. Turning off just this mod gets things to boot up just fine.

Albino stormvermin are made mute so they can't rebel or tell their masters secrets, so yes unloreful but honestly just more fun than the normal growls.

@Gleen
Something about the albino stormvermin get their tongues cut out or something, idk entire tbh.

It's really "unloreful"? I always assumed the skaven were naturally talkative, squeaking about lol
