Bug report. At times after getting a kill when mutator settings set to random weapon after kill, I get no weapon, or better said, my weapon is taken away and replaced with nothing. When this happens I don't get a weapon even after respawn and I am forced to restart the match.

The mod has (finally) been updated for EA26.
There are some new features and a lot of refactoring, optimization and bug fixing.
You can read the changelog to know exactly what was changed.

For some reason, some bots becomes invincible if you enable bots being affected by the mutator.

Kinda late, but I found a bug (may not be limited to just this mutator): Changes made to the settings (Min/Max number of kills, weapon change settings, etc) *do not save* without closing and relaunching Ravenfield completely. Exiting to the menu and starting a new match will still keep the old settings despite the new ones appearing in the config menu. Also, DISABLING the mutator won't actually disable it... (weapons will still switch as if it was enabled).

I had accidentally switched both team. So, if you selected red team, only blue team's weapons would change and vice versa. This is now fixed, but everything else was working fine on my side. Tell me if you find something else.

You can choose to get either the weapons of the ennemy you killed or random weapons. If you choose random weapons, before starting the game, you can select which random weapons you can receive.

So you can't decide exactly which weapons you receive but you can choose which weapons you could receive.

The thing that broke this mutator on the beta branch has been released on the main branch about two hour ago. This means that right now, the mod is broken everywhere.

I will release an update to fix everything in about 5 hours or sooner. Sorry for the delay.

How do I properly opt out of betas because I have it set to opt out in the properties and it says so on steam but in game it says "Early Access Build 22" and the mutator is completley broken

@Alex n' Italy As written in the changelog, the player is always affected. It's not a bug, I made it like that because if only the bots change weapons, it does not really affect the player and makes the whole mod kind of useless (at least that's what I thought). What do you want this for ?

Blue Team & Red Team, seems to not apply to the player despite him being in the blue or red team... is this true? if yes, can you fix it?

I looked a little in beta branch and found the problem. The way Random.Range() works has been changed and that broke some of my code. I'm waiting for an official solution before updating. In the meantime, it's still woking fine on the stable branch.

Ok thanks a lot for the feedback. I do not plan to update the mod for beta branch, since everything there is subject to change. However, if the mod is broken in the next official release, I will make sure to fix it.

If you uncheck all the sub-categories boxes, it will take every weapon from every sub-category.

The bots use a way simpler version of the weapon change than the player for performance reasons. I think I made them change every kill, because it has almost no impact on the gameplay. The min is the minimum of kills you need to change weapons and the max is the maximum. Each time you spawn, the number of kills required will be between the min and max. The max can be the same as the min.

the min max kills is really confusing and i cant seem to figure out how it works. I want the bots to change weapons after they get 5 kills but they keep changing after getting just one. I cant figure out how to make the mutator do what I want.

@test The bots and the player are not linked. The weapon of a bot is never affected by the weapon of a player.

Damn. Well, when it's possible, at least take a stab at it. (A lot of people would like to use just snipers, or just shotguns, etc. as a challenge)

And yes, I did say if that wasn't the case. (If we start with max, then no need for ammo percentage)

With the "random" setting, it is possible to get the same gun twice in a row.

When you get a new weapon, it is not actually the bot's weapon. You get a new gun of the type the bot was carrying. This means that you will always have max ammo on a gun you just received. Changing that would be quite complicated, so i think i'll leave it like it is.

Currently, with Ravenfield's API, it is not possible to access the weapon sub-categories.

Can we (if possible) get an expansion on the Random settings? (ie: Primary --> Marksman / Primary --> Assault)
