Don't be fooled by the description and the comments, the mod is really bad. None of the hordes states had a mounted archer unit really funny :D to play, you choose the horde state
and an army full of infantry appears haha :D Also, when I look at the unit stats of other states, it is not balanced either very strong or very weak. So mod is garbage dont waste your time

Do I have to wait for 101 turns before the Muslim invasion? That is a long time to wait, I'm 30 turns in as Sassanids, I have like 100k in the bank with a huge army, because no one ever really threatened me, just one stack from Ethiopia came over the sea, but were not a problem. In the description for Sassanids it says Very Hard, and you said the mod was supposed to be hard, but I don't know how. I'm playing on VH campaign difficulty by the way.

the arab unit roster is busted, why do they have 100 plus moral units? and all their melee units have high ap, and why is the frankish realm called exarchtes of Africa? pls fix those bugs

[受賞者]kekid23 - This is intentional. Bakr ibn Wa'il, Al-Yamama, bedouin sections migrated before Islam to Diyar Bakr in Al-Jazira and then somehow returned.

@Kris - from turn 101 on you can defeat them as you can defeat the Huns in Attila. And you need good troops. The battles against them are amazing and a challemge!
@[受賞者]kekid23 - the available factions are set by the game. I cannot recomment MP Campaign, only MP Battles!

I get that some players may be frustrated by Muslim Arabs mechanics but there is only so much that can be done to simulate an unexpected overwhelming threat in Attila.

Besides, when playing Eastern Rome/Sassanids it is possible to contain them effectively if you know your way around.


My question still is, how do you play some of the nations in co-op/PvP multiplayer? Like Exarchate of Ravenna or Defensores Aquae?

@mclovin - It is impossible to spawn 4 stacks in one turn! By the way, you did not notice the recommendation in the description. It is is your fault, that you had an unpleasant game. Fight them activly from turn 101 on, as I wrote.

ridiculously bad mod, it has potential but i've butchered at least 10 full rashidun stacks as the sasanians and taken EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEIR SETTLEMENTS, yet still every few rounds they manage to spawn 4 doomstacks in the levant and even in arabia where they have no settlements - very tedious and boring. i now understand why you guys aren't paid to make these mods

@Anisvara, thanks for the rely! Yeah I know WRE were gone by then, but I was still hoping to play with some of its core units with ERE Exarcate in Italy. Appreciate having them included in Carthage's Exarcate of Africa still, just have to work my way up Sicily or around Hispania to regain Roman Republic heartland.

@Amaranthen. there was no westrome anymore. I mixed the units + local units. In fact, there are mods with better historical units, but they needed longer to set it ap and they have large teams with design specialists. My focus was the gameplay..

What happened to Herculiani Seniores for the WRE template roster?

Some factions are missing in Multiplayer campagn, like Defensores Aquae or Exarcate of Ravenna. Is this due to the amount of factions? Any way to play them?

@*NFN* Braktologisk institutt - many thanks. The game is done. There will be no more changes. Cause any change needs incredible time for testing.There is a submods available for a stronger Islam. Better Muslim PO. With the basic settings I had no idea, to make the Islam stronger, cause the PO is relatet to the percentage of believers (Attila Enginge). In the description above I recommended: "If you want them stronger, use the "Dark Ages - better Public Order for Muslims - Submod.

Hi! This mod is really great, good work. But I just got to say, the emerging Islam-factions seem to be very weak? I haven't played this in a while so it might have been updated, but in my Eastern Roman empire-campaign, all the Islam factions just got stomped by the Sassanid empire. They re-spawned with new armies etc., but Sassanids just kept encroaching further into Arabia every time. Me, as the ERE, didn't get involved at all. I even considered backstabbing Sassanid empire to give the Islam-factions a "boost". Also they are divided into several minor horde factions. Its a far cry from the historical all-powerful muslim empire who brought Byzantium to its knees.

Has this been fixed, or is there any plans to do so? :D

@alrumpel - many thanks, 634 is really good, in 919 I set up a campaign on AoC map. But tis mod is added with stuff of Anno Domini/ You cannot compare. It is totally different. 634 should be more stabile. In 919 some had problems, as it is reported. I suggest that you start with 919, cause it is very innovative at all. If any problems play 634. The AI is much better than in Vanila.

I found a possible bug. I cant recruit archers as Gwynedd and have fully researched faction tree. Any solution to this?

Anisavara: FYI I put a bug report in to the bug report thread. Basically, I think Divine Triumph might be buggy.
