If you want a successor than search for the "multiloors" mod.
It don't have all the feature of Z levels but it seems very good planned, have a better performance and compatibility and is a WIP.
So please, if you love Z level support the author of multifloors mod, rate, like the mod and spread the word.
This is probably the best chance we have to get a good mod with Z level finally.

DeepRim is just more complexed and unnecesarry mining thing, which require constant manual input to work, it isn't worth it

It's really not the same, but...
The only mod I'm aware of which is remotely similar is DeepRim (Continued) . But, last I checked, that one is missing a lot of the functionality and features of this one.
