An essential mod, no less! Without this the game is LITERALLY unplayable. I'm not even kidding.

is this a stand alone mod or does it need the other mod to work

Has anyone had issues with this mod and city placement on the mac. i.e. it blocks out normally okay city sites? Its' either this mod or one other.

Would there be any way to have this show before you have researched the technology for that wonder?

AngleWyrm, hover over your own Wonder Progress and it is supposed show you anyone who is working on it's progress.

How do I use this? Basil_oz said "notifications appear when hovering the mouse over the wonder" but isn't the point of this mod to know about building progress before the wonder is constructed? Do I have to find the wonder on the map somewhere first?

For me it doesn't matter if I change the loadorder, city banner is still gone unfortunantly

Run the game and the wonder notifications appear when hovering the mouse over the wonder and I have entered a new era and received the appropriate screen to make era choices. Still have the city banners displaying correctly.

It looks like the editing of the modinfo file did the trick.

I'm running 149 mods and have edited the modinfo file to change the mod order and I got the game to run without losing the city banner. The game I'm running is early so I can't check if the notifications appear, but at least the banner remains. I'll keep running the game to check that the wonder progress starts appearing.

To change the mod order go to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\289070\2122167339
Open the file AI Wonder Progress Overview.modinfo with a text editor
Edit line 20 from <LoadOrder>200</LoadOrder> to <LoadOrder>1200</LoadOrder>
Save the file.

Backup the file prior to making changes if you aren't confident. The directory will be on the drive that you store your Steam files in (mine is actually D:\)

I'm 80% sure it's a mod order issue. I've had it before and been able to fix it by changing mod order, but I couldn't find a tutorial online that I was using before on how to realign the mod load order.

Hey guys, I haven't played since the latest update, I'll try to take a look and see if the dedication was broken in it again -- that issue I had specifically fixed in the previous version.

For the city banners, I'm still not sure exactly how to create it or if it's a mod order issue, but I'll try to do some more testing when I get a chance!

I've given a good college try, and I'm still having issues... looks like I'm not the only one anymore though.

City banner disappears when this (and the older mod) is activated. Not sure if it is a mod order issue. I'll have to dust off my old mod notes to see how I do that again to see if it helps.

I'm having no city names either. I've tested it with just this mod, and city names show when it is disabled while they don't appear when it is activated. No idea what might be conflicting with it

@BlueMoon , After the last / today's civ6 update, the commemoration cannot be selected, which consequently prevents the transition from one age to another and blocks the game completely.

I have no other known UI changing mod and my city banners disappear when I use both this mod or the old mod. Any cause of that?

Thanks for the help, but don't worry I'm sure it'll be fixed by disabling and reenabling my mods or something. I'll let you know if I can't get it to work.

Hi I just saw that you responded to this. When I have this mod active all of the information from the city icon on the map (name, pop, ect) is not visible. I tried all three of the wonder mods and they all seem to be causing the problem. Once i removed this mod the issue went away. It was a new issue that started happening with the new Frontier expansion.

@The Big Red Cheese what about DLC? Do you have both expansions and the new frontier DLC?

Ironically the only UI mod I'm using is Sukritact's UI mod.

Using too many mods to figure out which one would be causing it lol. Not using CQUI or concise UI or any of those

If anyone has a guess at which mod is the culprit I can install it and see if there is an easy fix. Are you guys using CQUI or some other UI/tooltips mod? I've tested with Sukritact UI mod and it works well.

Anyways it seems this isn't fixing the problem I'm having with it unfortunately... for some reason a conflict with another mod is causing this to erase the city banners from my games since the last patch.

Are you guys using any other mods? Do you have any other versions of this mod installed? What DLCs do you have active?

If I can try to reproduce the issue I can try and figure out what might be happening.

@cyprus151 can you explain what you mean?

If you're talking about the functionality from the original mod where it would show the wonder progress in the city banner tooltip, I removed that. The only place you can check the wonder progress is in the city production view.

Make sure you have any previous versions of the mod uninstalled and only this one installed.

Still having issues losing the city icon, is there anything I can do to prevent this issue?

I tested the era advancement specifically - are you sure you have all previous versions of the mod removed? Make sure this is the only one you have installed.

It's not a cheating, but it ensures that you can finish before the AIs. Normally what I do is guess when will some wonders is done and rush to finish it, but without such a mod of course much production is wasted due to "the supposed urgency"

Still stuck when entering a new era. I cancelled all the ui mod, but the problem remained

I'm mostly just acknowledging the original mod, which says Yes it's Cheating in the title. I agree it's not a real advantage, it just allows you to plan a bit better, and helps avoid the frustration when your wonder plan doesn't work out.

Thanks. I don't agree that it's cheating... it's still a race, except you can see who's ahead of you.
