Thanks for all your effort in formatting these beautiful wallpapers over to Steam :)
Just keep your expectations low, the whole wallpaper engine stuff is just kinda hacked in there :)
I'll take a look at maybe pushing this to GitHub over the weekend.
Regarding the weather, I've looked into this a bit before but haven't really implemented anything. It should be possible, but you would need to map the different weather types returned by some API to the best fitting scenes, as not every scene has weather variants.
I uploaded some of these wallpapers as scene type wallpapers many years ago, and have always wanted it to be able to change the time of day according to real time. But i didnt, and still dont have, the knowhow nor the patience to do so, so i am blown away by this!
Back then the effect games website didnt have the time of day slider, which didnt make my life any easier lol. Dont know when it was added, but this is a fantastic, very user friendly and customizable implementation of that feature.
Absoloutly amazing job sir!

Haven't tested it too much so there may be some bugs, just let me know if you find anything broken :)
I haven't seen those before your comment. I don't think it would be easy to add them to this wallpaper, as the living worlds images all have dynamic time of day and the canvas cycle images do not.
From a quick look it does however seem fairly similar in terms of how it is implemented, so I could probably make a new wallpaper using the code changes from this one without too much effort. I'll take a closer look at that over the weekend.
Thanks for pointing this out, there are some pretty scenes in there :)
In any case, just re-send it to me so i can take a look.
I think i sent the entire apk, if not, lemme know and i'll try to grab the APK and re-share it.
The issue is that they are cropped for portrait, so I can't extract and use the events from there for this wallpaper, besides I think handling those events isn't event implemented in the effectgames version.
I'll move finishing that other wallpaper higher up on my projects list, but can't promise anything.
If you still have those, it will work just fine.
If you know where I can get the uncropped images with the events let me know, if those even exist.
I do plan to eventually create a portrait wallpaper from the android version, but that requires free time and also mostly some motivation to do that amongst a bunch of other projects :)
There is however an official Android live wallpaper version here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pixfabrik.livingworlds
Add me if you are interested in them, it's hard to make them work since you gotta reorganize their JS files, but it's plausible, since little changed in the scenes themselves
Besides that, the new features are working fine.
let me know if something is broken.
Thanks a lot! THis works much better!
