You have four options options; help the mod team make the mod better faster. Make your own version. Play the game vanillaz play the game with the mod as it.

If you don't want to use the mod, then dont..not a hard concept to grasp really.

i know this mod is work in progress, but its not justification of making it almost unplayable. i know that updates in this game break mods like crazy but you know, if im playing a mod that was updated not that much time ago i dont expect the update to contain mod that will waste hours of time because its in state ''you can finish the game...maybe. just dont expect stuff inside to work''. if the mod gets updated and its more broken than original game then how i can justify playing it?

"......this mod is in a Work in Progress [WIP] state." Look in the Description "When will UBE finished" And so it ist logicaly that the mod don´t work without bugs. Be patient, the Modding-Team is working and it is much work.

then congrats you are the only one without anything game breaking. because i have fleets that stop moving, fleets that start spinning in place when they get attacked, mission with attacking anchored ships where there are ship signatures but are no ships and uboat gets alarm there but no ships present, planes flying into water, and the best that fucked my game. i docked and suddenly every npc just thought yeah we are gonna run to the warehouse. so i couldnt click anything, and it was happening every time. so yeah. half of this mod is not working. and its the important half

For those complaining about discord links, let me introduce you this thing called Google.

"Uboat game discord" not a hard search really.

It's was asked on steam and was the top reply.

If you feel the need to insult someone because you don't know how to Google, then can I advise you to seek help.

Everyone else; it's a huge mod built by a few people. Either pitch in and help or wait. No need to use it if you don't want to. Am happily in 1943 on second playthough with this mod and there is nothing game breaking.

This is broken, it just spawns massive fleets with 20+ ships from day one and sets them stationary on the coast.

i can see why it says ''back from the dead and on life support'' half of this mod is not even working properly. question is why would you keep mods that doesnt work no more like expanded ports

man, problems after problems. why is sink warships on horten mission not working, like i select it but it doesnt apply like i never accepted it. and even if i sail there and get notifications there are like 8 ships there and masts are in sight then when i get close i get alarm but no ships around

i dont really know what to do in supporting invasion of france. they dont seem to have any cargo ships, ports are only point on map without actual port so over half of them have no great use, there are french warships escorting british cargo ships, but destroying those warships doesnt seem to do anything so i go back and i see i suddenly got points to this mission but i have no idea what i did to get those points

Would be real cool if they didn't mess with the fast forward. Why is 15,000x actually 2048x? That is 13% of the vanilla. 1800x is actually just over 50% that, 1024x That makes the game more fun?

Loving this mod but man does it make Norway escort near impossible. Fleet of 2 Destroyers, 2 Corvettes, 1 light cruiser, and 2 refit cargo ships. I like to think I'm ok at this game but they wipe my fleet every time. I either die myself or can't kill them all fast enough.

The only reason i'm not playing this game is i find vanilla quite bland and this mod has always seemed like the solution so i wish the team godspeed!

@RebelRabid Hey, u should try to understand them too. Maybe they just don’t have that much free time anymore... People get older, and responsibilities grow. They might not have time to fix every issue, but that doesn’t mean they’ve abandoned the mod either...

Just look back at the past updates they’ve been trying all along. But the base game itself isn’t exactly stable either. Maybe that’s why the mod and game files aren’t syncing properly?

In the end, we should be supporting them for taking the time to update a mod we all love. :gohwehrmacht::morphine:

@Overlord There's no point. They haven't touched that doc since the end of May and we're one month away from Fall. Nothing is being pushed out, no new information since Spring. Think it's fair to say these guys have ditched us.

This mod basically made the game at the level of SH 3 and 4 for me. I know the updates threw it for a loop (as will the Type IX) but I hope this continues on (or gets integrated into the main game, as some other mods have).

lol i support this mod. is it ready not yet people dont realize the history of this mod and how full release of the game brok it. Link is an amazing modder, but he is up agaainst some stacked odds. its amazing enough hes been able to get it so we can load in and we can HELP with the bug fixxing. ya complaaining about a free mod a dudes but many many unpaid hours in just to get it to where it is, could be more constructive

If you guys are having the infinite loading issue, what worked for me is what the owner of the mod said to do. Switch your UBout emblem to a vanilla one that is not used by the mod itself but rather by the main game, and to save using your OWN save, not using any of the saves that the game does automatically. Yes it inst the easiest or the most convenient but it works for me

Agreed, I wish the devs would be more in contact with this great Modding community. The base game is severely lacking on these opportunities to flesh out the game. I'll wait... seems like I'm always waiting for this game to be ready.

To many bugs. I tried to work with it but I got tired of having to restart my career over and over again because of things going wrong. I do hope things get fixed as uboat expanded does add a great deal to the game.

+1, game just doesn't load after you try to start a new game. You do all the settings, press start. Then infinite blackscreen.

@Overlord you sure about that? Because I tried to start the game and it just locked up and never loaded, turned the mods off and it's fine.

i tried to launch a new start and the got to the loading screen where it says it may take a few minutes for the game to start, well 4 hours later and she was still spinning lol
