By the way, please describe this mode in more detail? I don't know exactly what is different with other mods such as 'reduce attack interval'.
The weapon entry itself has nothing to do with what the unit uses or how its animations look. Each unit has its own custom entry. For example, Greatswords will have a line in there that looks like:
wh_greatsword_weapon
followed by a bunch of numbers that determines the damage done when a unit with this weapon.
Contrary to tabletop where great weapons were just +2S and ASL (if you've played TT) and equipping great weapons to other units produced the same buffs on those units.
If someone made a custom unit, they'll probably have their own custom weapon entry to be able to fine tune their own creation.
So if a custom unit uses a sword, this mod won't change (or work) anything? To me units just use 1h sword 2h (great) sword spear etc etc but from what I gather from what you said then a custom unit has a custom sword...is that correct?
