This was incompatible because this was made before valve added the taunt section on the workshop.

I know that 'taunt animation submissions' is (or has been) discussed and considered, but to the best of my knowledge this hasn't been implemented as a part of the Steam Workshop (as per this post http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=12828 ...scroll to the bottom).

Hopefully at some point there's an 'official' pipeline to submitting taunts that will be considered compatible for the store! If that happens I'd certainly consider submitting some more and even re-submitting this one as another option for those who liked it!
