60-65 would be fast enough, they should be able to outrun infntry but not every cav in the game... An almost mod for me.

Can you add to the list of giants this affects the albion giant from the OVN lost factions mod? This mod affects the chaos dwarf siege giants and the others from OVN but not the albion giants for some reason.

I know it's way too fast, but otherwise giants needs something else to buff them, missile resistance or bigger healthpool, and I'm not that versed in balancing to do it.

This also affect Cygors for me. And they have real weird movement animations.

@ShaggothChampion LMAO. Yeah, I don't mind "cheat mods" or "Make ___ OP," sometimes it's fun or necessary to test certain game mechanics. But when someone is tweaking a unit, I don't expect the Giant to have 130 speed. I will say, the Sebidee Flying mod makes much more sense, flying units are between 280-320 speed base. But that's a FLYING unit haha

I downloaded the mod but it turned out to be pure insanity, giants have !130! speed, 20 more than flying units.

You can just open the .pack in rusted pack file manager and remove references to the rogue idol.

Any chance of making one that only modifies the giant but not the Rogue Idol? I think the RI is plenty powerful the way he is, but the giant is useless.

I've just updated the mod, you can have both brutal battles 2 and this mod active at the same time now.

And whatever mods that are changing same table entries, will now have to deal with my TRIPPLE exclamation marks.

at first the speed wasn't working for me, but the dmg stats were
i found out that i was subbed to a mod called "brutal battles 2" and it was overriding the speed of the rogue idols (didn't check out giants, i was more interested in rogue idol stuff)
so i updated "brutal battles 2" through PFM with this mod's stats and all is gewd

Maybe, not sure, because they are still kinda not the best, especially with how AI handles them. I might change them to cavalry class, don't know.

I might make a slower version as another person suggested, and add them missile protection, but then their armor\hp has to be reworked to compensate.

I'll do another campaign with greenskins, I want to buff orc's next and do another round of edits on Giant and Idol, and then balance them. Giant's at this point are fun for me, while I feel like orc units - useless. So maybe I'll do buffed orc's mod - then balanced greenskins mod.

If some other mod changes them then there will be no difference because it will overwrite my changes.

If you go into custom battle and look at the unit card it should have speed over 100. If it's not - then it got overwritten by some other mod.

@DDkiki It should work with all giant types but I cannot test Chaos and Beastmen - because I don't own the DLC's.

Only Giant that did not get any buffs is Boss Giant from Greenskins, let me know if it also should be buffed because I don't even know what that is.

Actually amazed the giants have been a 'joke' unit for so long in multiple rosters and yet nobody tried to do anything. Hell I was planning on learning how to do something likes this on my own then here you come in hot like a hero. Cheers mate will dedicate first Giant doom stack in your name.
