I managed to make a complete version of shipwreck 5, the 3rd cargo hatch doesn't function, but it looks decent exterior wise

@EndAllFilms I have no idea, I haven't downloaded the mod or tested this pack since posting it. All but one of the wrecks are above water though, so it should be fine.

@shaynereed3 This environment mod is almost 3 years old by now, so I wouldn't be surprised if something's broken by now. That being said, there's a few things I can think of that you could try.

First, due to to the nature of environment mods, you must select this pack from the environment mod list when creating a new world (you cannot use this in an existing world). From the main menu, press "New Game", then "Enabled Addons", then "Workshop", then toggle the switch next to "Shipwreck Pack", then create your world after entering the proper seed (30625).

Second, you must use the exact world seed listed in the description, or some of the wrecks may not spawn in correctly. The random terrain generation of Stormworks worlds tends to cause problems.

Third, make sure you are checking in the correct locations. The mission update broke the location feature (you can still toggle each location individually, but they no longer display at the same time, you'll have to "Test" them in the mission editor), so you need to make sure you are checking the right locations for these shipwrecks (I've listed the names of the locations in the description).

Environment mods are a bit of a pain, but hopefully you understand this. Best of luck, and let me know if it still doesn't work for you!

@thekatsmeow69 Wow, I'm genuinely surprised that people still use this shipwreck addon. Anyways, White Hull Bay is what I called the bay in the southwest corner of the Sawyer Islands. There used to be a locating marker there, but it stopped working since the devs changed the way missions work.

@Pelunskii Wolf Ah, ok then. I've had to use this method in the past when I needed to access shipwrecks after I deleted their vehicle files. Kind of a roundabout way of doing it, but it works fine.

@Pelunskii Wolf If you want, I could modify this to make the vehicles editable, so you can find them on the map and return them to the workbench. Assuming I have enough time, I might be able to figure that out this weekend.

i was wondering if you could make the wrecks inside of this pack into regular vehicles in their rusty and destroyed form, it would be very fun to edit some of these into "ghost ships"...

@Glorious Britain No worries, you are definitely not brain dead. When the devs changed the mission mechanics, they kind of broke my shipwreck pack, so the shipwreck locator doesn't really work anymore. I just couldn't be bothered to learn how to fix this.

@sivostang73 Maybe. I haven't used missions/environment mods in a while, but if I recall correctly, there is a reason that I didn't add a lot of underwater wrecks. Unless the devs fixed it, the problem is that the sea floor in different areas varies in depth depending on your world seed, and the mission editor doesn't account for this.
This means that, unless you use a very specific seed or carefully position everything, you're going to have weird floating shipwrecks or something like that.

@katiewray I totally agree! I've been considering it for a while now, but it's been difficult for me to find enough time to build stuff like this. School has been keeping me pretty busy, but I would love to try making a Rust Bucket 2 sometime in the future!

Yeah, that's weird... It just doesn't make any sense to me, because, if one spawns, they all should since they're all spawned in as part of the same mission. Then again, I haven't actually tested/used this environment mod in a while (its been a few months), so the new update may have broken this without me knowing. If I can find the time for it, I'll probably check it out to see if I have the same issues as you.

That's really strange... This sounds super dumb (and I kind of already said this), but are you absolutely sure that you checked the right locations? I know that you probably did, but at this point, I can't think of anything else that might cause this issue. If Shipwreck 3 spawned in correctly, they all should, since they're part of the same environment mod. I really don't know what else could have gone wrong...

To your second comment, there could be a number of reasons for that. Did you use the correct seed (use the world seed 30625)? Did you check the correct locations (3 locations in the Sawyer Islands, 1 at the Police Station Island, 1 at the Ruins 1 island, and 1 in the Arctic)? If you can't find the wrecks, check the environment mod, and it should show you where the wrecks spawn. Alternatively, you can toggle the mission, which spawns markers that reveal the locations.
