AGOT Train Daughters

You can already train daughters depending on culture. If you reform a religion to have the chivalry feature, you can potentially knight your daughters as well. Westerosi culture and faith of the seven just doesn't favor martial women. It's still possible with good traits and luck, but definitely harder.

I mean, Ned Stark did send Arya to have Water Dancing lessons from Syrio Forel and some women in the North were trained in fighting like Maege Mormont and Lyanna Stark (if she was the Mystery Knight at the Tourney at Harrenhal). So it kind of is canon in a way.

Why train your daughers at anything? Are they just not political assets for marrying away?

Being able to train your daughters is lore friendly, for dorne and the North. Maybe some hill clans, but squiring is not.

This could be completely historically accurate, maybe change it so that theres some kind of debuff for you if you train your daughter, since it'd be frowned upon by other lords. Maybe they get a lower opinion of you or smth. Otherwise it's a great mod, very useful!

There are absolutely girls in A Song of Ice and Fire who train as warriors, with Arya and presumably Brienne being obvious examples.
If you were going for full lore accuracy, you'd probably need to implement a separate system (Eddard had to hire a Braavosi to train Arya rather than just have her be someone's squire), but practically speaking this is fine.

I haven't ever commented on a mod in the workshop before, but I just had to let you know how much I appreciate this mod. Thank you so much, it drastically improved my game ! <3

@Ren Yes, this requires AGOT.

I'm not sure how I'd be able to do it in Vanilla, there's way too many things I'd have to do.

does this require AGOT mod or can i make my daughters a squire without that mod? Is there a way you could make a non-AGOT version for both genders?

Nice mod. And it will be really cool if it also works for other educations. (for example, let the child watch negotiations to improve his/her diplomacy.
