*Sigh* I really like this but I don't think the creator is actively working on this mod anymore.
Robert2001 Aug 22, 2021 @ 12:42pm
The game is paused for the rest of forever due to the problem below.
Robert2001 Aug 22, 2021 @ 12:40pm
Your mod is screwed.

This thing below keeps happening.

I feel the wisdom of my ancestors flowing through my veins...
Maybe something else... = Next Page (triggers the same event again over and over)
De Clare Aug 12, 2021 @ 4:19am
Don't know if this was intentional or not but it seems that you can receive bloodlines from this mode multiple times...
De Clare Aug 3, 2021 @ 8:44pm
If your looking for the event codes for these you can find them via.
1. Go to documents

4. Got to the Mod File.
5. Find the ZIP file Extra_bloodlines.mod
6. Click the File Events
7. Click the file EB_bloodlines_activation_events and open with Notepad

9. Profit.
mothtbh Jul 17, 2021 @ 6:08pm
hey! are there event codes for these?
Lord_Farsight Jun 23, 2021 @ 7:36am
This mod looks interesting, but there's one thing holding me back. A question. Does it conflict with unlimited ambition bloodline mods ? I mean, if I get a bloodline from this mod, will I still have the option to farm ambition bloodlines ?
Aww_Potatoes Mar 25, 2021 @ 3:39pm
If it's any help, I think I've narrowed down the lawmaker spam bug to be a clash with "AI custom kingdoms & empires"
Papak  [author] Mar 14, 2021 @ 4:02am
@shirleybothwell Regions can be viewed by clicking a province, then clicking the "regions that include this province" button on the province view. When selecting a region, its boundaries will be outlined in green on the world map. No you do not need the forge bloodline ambition.

@Aww_Potatoes It seems like a bug, since the achievement bloodlines don't require the 5000 prestige they should have. Will fix.

@‡ The Rick ‡ Steam is weird sometimes
shirleybothwell Mar 11, 2021 @ 9:24am
Question 1. What counts as northern Europe as in my game I'm planning a mass invasion of Scandinavia and that bloodline looks good
Question 2. do you have to have the forge bloodline ambition to get these bloodlines as I've picked up some before downloading this mod
Aww_Potatoes Mar 4, 2021 @ 2:56pm
any help with the lawmaker bloodline spam done by AI in the earlier start dates? even with only the rarest ai bloodlines its still spammed
Rick The Black Mar 1, 2021 @ 10:49am
I noticed in my mods, that it says extra bloodlines 1.0, so I guess it didn't update itself.
Rick The Black Mar 1, 2021 @ 10:42am
Well with every my ruler that has over 30 of some stats gets a bloodline, after few rulers my stats are over 50-60. I have seen some npc rulers that have 111 martial because of bloodlines.
Papak  [author] Mar 1, 2021 @ 12:51am
@shirleybothwell here [www.dropbox.com] ( I have the same link posted within the description above)

@‡ The Rick ‡ Are you sure you are using the latest version of this mod? In the same 1.4.0 update I added the The Conqueror of Western Europe Bloodline, I removed getting more attribute points from bloodlines (see change notes) and increased the required attribute points by 10 (easy setting) or 20 (hard setting). With that in mind, I don't think they are broken at all.

@Teoctlamazqui Unfortunately no
Rick The Black Feb 27, 2021 @ 8:06am
yeah that would be helpful, I conquered Western Europe and didn't get a bloodline, while I get mastermind, diplomacy, stewardship, martial etc. bloodline making my character have 80 of every stat lel
shirleybothwell Feb 27, 2021 @ 6:23am
do you have a lists on how to get some of these bloodlines
Rick The Black Jan 29, 2021 @ 3:37pm
This is so broken, I get several bloodlines with each character that has over 20 in any stat and now my family members have 50 diplomacy 30 learning and 20 of other stats.
Teoctlamazqui Nov 19, 2020 @ 12:31pm
Any way to create a rule so only the ai can create bloodlines and not the player?
Alpharion Aug 22, 2020 @ 8:34pm
That is good to hear. Wanted to play as Robert the Fox during the Alexiad bookmark and hoped to get a Bloodline after he successfully seized the Byzantine Empire from Alexios Komnenos.
Papak  [author] Aug 20, 2020 @ 6:49am
@stay healthy, bro @Drafunov I have not tested the mod with any major overhauls. It won't crash your game, but I can't guarantee every bloodline will activate as intended. I plan to make the mod HIP compatible in the future but right now it's still work in progress.
Alpharion Aug 20, 2020 @ 4:49am
Curious if it is compatible with HIP.
wankerQAQ Aug 12, 2020 @ 4:26pm
@author is this compatible with hip?
Papak  [author] Jun 24, 2020 @ 5:07am
@kaelond16 Was unaware creating the kingdom of israel already gives a bloodline in the base game. I removed my mod's bloodline so you only get the base game's bloodline.
kaelond16 Jun 23, 2020 @ 1:49pm
Everytime I load in the Blood of the First King duplicates.
Papak  [author] May 31, 2020 @ 1:24am
@Tharglu @okay2016 I will make a seperate discussion channel such as to not clutter this comment section :) We can talk about balance there
Tharglu May 31, 2020 @ 12:27am
While really funny, the bloodline stacking gets really out of hand fast. The various stat bloodlines progressively get easier each generation. I think what @okay2016 would be a good way to mitigate that, have all the bonuses barring the stat increase be the bloodline, then just the character who made the bloodline gets a permanent modifier to their related stat. You still get a tidy increase to your stat but you can't stack it up like a madman.
okay2016 May 30, 2020 @ 9:26pm
Your mod is really fun, and i look forward to seeing how it ends up; but right now, the stat bloodlines are just too OP since they can stack pretty much infinitely. Which can make for a fun playthrough on its own, but well, too much op-ness and you start craving for faction revolts again just to spice things up :)
*prehaps you could split stuff into 'lesser bloodlines' and 'greater bloodlines', with the latter replacing the former if the same character gets both? i'm thinking of a modifier for lesser bloodlines that turns into a bloodline post-mortem? or maybe even make lesser bloodlines fade after 3 generations, which is possible with modifiers, or a combo (you get prestige from bloodline, but stat boosts from a modifier)
okay2016 May 30, 2020 @ 9:22pm
@GamingAccident tbf, those were pretty exceptional characters i was running; but here's an example for 30+ diplo: +5 base; +9 grey eminence; +3 quick; +2 carouser modifier; +2 gamer trait; +3 charitable; +2 kind; +2 honest; the rest can come from artifacts or ambitious, shrewd; or even patient+diligent. All of that is easy to get; all those virtues and honest you can easily get from theology focus, and even more easily if you're in a monastic order. you can get honest even more reliably by siring a few bastards (might give you an event where the spymaster suggest you off the poor 'lil kid)
Papak  [author] May 29, 2020 @ 3:31am
@kaelond16 I have not tested the mod with any overhaul mods. From what I understand from your comment, you think the requirements are met too easily. I suppose you are talking about the trait-related bloodlines. Since other people too had similar issues with bloodlines, I will be increasing the prestige needed to 5000 and adding some more requirements. If you could reply with which bloodlines you saw too often I would be more than happy! Thanks for the feedback.
kaelond16 May 28, 2020 @ 6:06pm
@GamingAccident Ive been playing with your mod and I keep getting multiple bloodlines simultaniously once my prestige gets around 2000-2500 and am noticing these bloodlines running rampant. It feels like less of an acheivement to get one of these. Id recomend giving once you get one of the bloodlines a tag added to your character so they cant create multiples or maybe make the prestige needed scaling? Im playing with HIP and a bunch of other mods, it could be just the way its interactin with another mod but I thought id let you know.
Papak  [author] May 28, 2020 @ 1:05am
@okay2016 I was especially concerned about the martial bloodline and was considering raising the requirement (similar to the learning bloodline). As for the other bloodlines I am not too sure. In my playthroughs I haven't been able to have more than 30 diplomacy ,intrigue or stewardship without a special event like Satan's spawn. Do you have a different experience and think I should increase the requirement?
okay2016 May 27, 2020 @ 6:39pm
also, maybe raise the stat requirement to 35 or 40; the bloodlines fire too often, which in turn just makes getting them on new characters even easier
okay2016 May 27, 2020 @ 5:56pm
can you check for things like berserker trait and focuses? It's just too easy to get 30+ martial as vikings, and focuses can be a bit of a hack. I've literally seen vikings get 6+ from bloodlines, and i got three bloodlines in a row as a feudal (and i didn't even practice eugenics; just got lucky with focuses finishing up nice and early)
Papak  [author] May 27, 2020 @ 3:52pm
It has come to my attention that none of the "special" bloodline effects work correctly (such as the "chance of getting zealous trait").

I will be fixing that in the next update, which will be ready in a day or two.
Papak  [author] May 27, 2020 @ 2:09pm
@Queen Ilhan Omar Depends on what you want. When starting a new game, there is an option to let the npcs create these new bloodlines too! If you dont want that, just disable that option.
Solitude May 27, 2020 @ 1:53pm
I'm unaware of how CK2 works in this regard, but is it only possible for the player to acquire these bloodlines or can NPCs get these too?
TigerWave01 May 25, 2020 @ 4:44pm
Ooh I can't wait for game achievement bloodlines. Would actually give me a reason to go for them. Great mod
Glorfindel May 25, 2020 @ 1:57pm
Thanks man Great mod
Papak  [author] May 25, 2020 @ 4:29am
@Glorfindel Instead of making an antirely new mod, I managed to make a rule that sets your preferable inheritance type!
Papak  [author] May 24, 2020 @ 9:33am
@Glorfindel I will probably make a seperate mod for patrilineal and matrilineal inheritance in the near future, but I won't be limiting players to just 1 bloodline per character.
Glorfindel May 24, 2020 @ 7:07am
can you make a seperate mod for just patrillineal and also maybe one where only one bloodline can be made per character
Papak  [author] May 21, 2020 @ 10:58pm
@Zeatlebrox The code is designed to be as easy to read as possible, but I updated the effects into the description anyway.
