im fairly new to this and i made it to the vault thingy or what ever and this squid guy killed me because i ran out of mana.

is it possible to just get rid of mana? i just got on to this mod so if there is my apologies.

@the game leech Unfortunately I do not know how to make this mod compatible with Apotheosis. Someone asked me if I could make my Unlimited Spells mod (makes a similar change as this mod) compatible with Apotheosis and I spent hours trying but Apotheosis changes the same file and always gets priority for some reason I cannot figure out.

So no plans, sorry.

when i run this with apotheosis, it stops working. are there any plans to add compatibility?

what about no cast delay?

I made this mod because someone requested it and I made it like five months before the Angry Spirit perk was even in the game.

why would you need this mod when you can just run out of mana and let the angry spirit perk spam bombs crystals etc.

does this make potion unlimited if not can you make a unlimited potion mod

@sknsad Are you using any other mods? This mod will not work if another mod changes the same file and is higher up in the load order.

You also need to start a new run for this mod to work, it will not work if turned on mid run.

Here are the steps to enable mods if that is what you need:
1. Start Noita
2. Click "Mods"
3. Click each mod you want to enable on the left (you will see [x] for enabled mods)
4. Click "Start a new game with enabled mods active"

The game will then restart and you can play with your selected mods.

If none of that helps then give me a little more detail about what you are doing and what isn't working and I will see if I can help more.

@Flame Boi Ant It is working fine for me, are you using other mods too? This mod also doesn't work correctly if it is turned on mid-run.

@Purple this mod is just a simple edit, I don't know how to make it something that you can toggle in game (if it is even possible with this particular change).

I don't want to keep another variation of this mod updated so you can make this change yourself if you want, it is just a text file.

1. Download this mod
2. Open the mod's folder
3. Open /data/scripts/gun/gun.lua (it's a text file)
4. Delete the "--" before "c.action_max_uses"
5. Save your changes.
6. Move the mod into /Noita/mods

You can unsubscribe from this version and use your local version at this point. You can change the name field in the mod's mod.xml if you want it to have a different name in the game's mod list as well.

can you disable the no cast limit individually if thats the case.

@bjelle Sorry, I just double-checked and the mod order works the opposite of what I thought it did. The mod that is lower on the list is the one that gets priority over mods higher in the list, so if two mods modify the same file then the lower one is the one that will work. I'll delete my last comment with the bad info.

My Unlimited Power mod does the same thing as my Unlimited Spells mod and also removes mana usage. You should use one or the other, not both.

So if you were using them both and took my incorrect advice on the mod order then you would have unlimited uses on say the bomb spell but spells would still use mana.

If you disable Unlimited Spells then Unlimited Power should work fine.

@bjelle I just tested it and the mod works on my end, you have started a new game with the mod enabled right? It will not work if you turn it on mid game.

@Noisyboy The mod still works on my end and the base game file I edit has not changed, have you tried redownloading the mod or maybe verifying the game files? I don't know why it wouldn't be working for you.

This does not work anymore. I ONLY have this mod installed and it does nothing :(

There is one thing that lets this keep the balance true: temperament. Like, for instance, not just holding left click with the bomb. Aspire to keep things as un-exploded as possible, WITHOUT cutting yourself off from making an opening where one is actually necessary.
