1. Add this mod (2100040774) to the end/bottom of your mod list order "ActiveMods=" which is inside the GameUserSettings.ini (GUS.ini) Loading last, allowing it to catch all.
2. Add the config below to the very bottom GUS.ini with a line break before and after like:
[GetEngrams]
GetEngrams=True
RemapRemovesRemapee=False
(If using stack mods like HG or SMM then do RemapRemovesRemapee=True)
3. Add if not already existing, the command line argument -servergamelog to the very end of your command line arguments (I.E. TheIsland?Listen -Log -servergamelog)
Once all this is set up, go ahead, run the server, and let it fully start up, now check logs in the folder /shootergame/saved/logs (look for the newest log sorted by date)
That's how you use this to obtain all engrams within all mods, so you can further customize/optimize your server.
Basic steps on how to disable engrams;
1. Enable the boolean: bOnlyAllowSpecifiedEngrams=true within the game.ini this time (This hides any engrams which are NOT added into the game.ini)
2. Remove any entries of engrams you do not wish to have, anything you remove from the list, will not show up in the games engram entries.
*Some entries may still appear in some crafting stations under certain conditions!
Always mindwipe all players on the server so there is little to no future conflict.
I will not go into further detail, as there are plenty of meticulous guides online.
Can this utility above help me to eliminate the dates before every OverrideNamedEngramEntries in the log? Otherwise I have prepared a macro and I will leave the pc turned on to eliminate "manually" every date and time at the beginning of every string.
1) I putted -LOG -servergamelog in the start option in Steam
2) putted
[GetEngrams]
GetEngrams=true
RemapRemovesRemapee=true
in GUS.ini
3) started a non-dedicated session of my game, and not a single-player one
No log file has been created, but I could did a copy paste into a txt file of the text in the log that opened with the game.
The only downside is that it lists unmodified engrams, both vanilla and from mods, because I have working modified engrams in my game.ini, and all of this shows engrams like nothing is written about them in your game.ini, but is a flaw that is surely negligible considering how helpful, and I would say necessary, this mod is to prevent lag from the engrams menu.
Thank you
I am trying to use this mod in SP but no log is created in steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Logs.
I putted
[GetEngrams]
GetEngrams=true
RemapRemovesRemapee=false
in my GUS.ini, and bOnlyAllowSpecifiedEngrams=true in my game.ini,
and my start options are these: https://ibb.co/3ymkFD5
so I really do not understand where I'm doing wrong.
Could you please help me?
In GameUserSettings.ini add the config settings found at the bottom of the mod description with "GetEngrams" set to true. Start the server with the mod enabled.
Once the server has started, stop the server, get the game log from ShooterGame/Saved/Logs, then use it's contents with the helper website that's listed in the description.
I read over the description and can clearly see it says that it'll be output into the log, but again, after looking in multiple locations I cannot find anything with said information.
It's been useful to a couple of people, and that's enough to make it worth it for me.
how to active the mods, where is the list after instalaion.
Srly this mods maybe work and could be great but with this kind of attitude "If you don't understand how to use this, or why it's useful, then this mod probably doesn't pertain to you"
Just keep the mod for you, don't share it
