If you are not willing to port this to wh3, would you be able to give me some pointers on how to create a mod like this for wh3? Send me a friend request if so

I tried to port this as it is, however it seems like whatever warhammer 3 changed with the AI made this not functional, may need some additional tweaks or be done in a diferent way.

WHy is there nota single mod for wh3 like this man :( Ppl saying sieges suck but then go play field battles that are literaly same shit every time = Ai lines up and charges you .....

This does not work one bit. The AI spread across their entire deployment zone like a giant unorganized noodle... with artillery and ranged units in the front ready to be charged by things while their melee units remain in the back, NOT protecting the squishy stuff. Every battle turns into a formationless blob-amoeba-thing and I can nuke the entire army with one vortex because they all run towards each other and blob together in the center of the deployment zone. Honestly, I'm tired of the AI's total incapability to use even basic staunch-line-of-spears tactics. Please, please update this mod.

Please don't put multiple unrelated things in your mods. Better formations for the AI is a very nice idea. To use it, I don't want to be forced to include modifications to recruitment. Much better to separate your mods so they do one thing unless they are some kind of overhaul.

How do you make the AI not line up in a line? And any idea why there aren't more mods like yours that do this??

Also, sorry to ask again, but is there any way that I can remove the lines from RPFM so that it's just the different formation and not recruitment?

Please update this mod. There is none other like it and since it's not updated all I get is a gigantic f*cking line across the map (which allows the AI to easily surround my entire army in land battles).

With the 4 tables in pfm, which ones are needed to change the deployment, rather than the recruitment?

So that I can delete the ones, so hopefully I can get it compatible with sfo :)

Having it split would be awesome.. Or could you guide me to let me know what lines to remove from PFM so that I can just keep the deployment stuff and none of the recruiting stuff? I too use SFO :)

I wouldnt say that recruitment optimisation is an "unrelated feature" of a mod that intends to make the AI create and field more realistic armies.

Ok, I appreciate what you're doing, but I find it annoying when modders combine two completely unrelated features into one mod. I'd love to use the army formation part of this mod with my SFO pack, but I can't because the recruitment changes break compatibility.

Hey!

So you said that it should be almost compatible with anything, but KMM flags a conflict with sfo and when just running this and SFO the game CTD on while loading the game :(

This mod doesn't seem to work. I have only this mod activated. The battles start fine and march and charge in formation. However, after about thirty seconds the enemy disengages and just starts running around in circles.

I would love if this mod only had the ai army formations, cause there already are a bunch of mods out there changing the ai recruitment for armies. it also seems like alot of people have problems with the ai recruitments of this mod anyway.

Hello. Does this make the ai recruit more elite armies? Im experiencing a lot of chaff units in my playthrough but that might be because of the unit caps for all mod. Great mod btw
