Just a hint however, for building access to hot steam rooms or the like. Players should build an insulated mechanized door on the hot side of it, to keep precious heat from escaping. This Airlock Door conducts a lot of heat.
Enjoy.

IT WORKS!!1 (on my machine at least)
Did the dev update the mod to be compatible with something in Beta but thereby made it uncompatable with (older) current version of the game?
This is an issue with the Steam Workshop. Some workarounds include clearing the download cache, reinstalling ONI or deleting the ACF file (appworkshop_457140.acf)
no offence but i think this guy needs some help... really
Who are you and what have you done for the ONI community?
Nothing? Then STFU and sit down.
I personally think this addon is great, works fine and is a nice way to avoid the "wet" from the standard waterlocks. I use it to get into hot rooms with an insulated door infront dont want my precious hot steam to leak and heat up the area.
Yes dups stacks up if someone is already in it. For the busy areas i tend to use the 3 stack water lock nowdays since its alot faster and doesn't give your dupes wet either but can break easily if any other liquid comes in contact with it.
If you happen to read this, please reconsider your values and contributions.
Fixes a design smell. Liquid locks are clever, but they’re also an exploitish workaround. A powered double-door with a vacuummed vestibule is what a real colony would build. This mod brings that logic into the game loop.
Costs and counters are balanced.
120 W draw, refined-metal cost, research gate (Improved Ventilation), and limited internal battery (7 uses) make it a meaningful choice, not a free upgrade. If you cut power, you create failure modes-exactly the kind of “interesting risk” ONI is built on.
What Klei could adopt/tweak
Late-mid tech node. Slot it after Improved Ventilation (or alongside Atmo Suit tech).
Verdict
Airlock Door hits the sweet spot: engineering-authentic, systemically fair, and fun to design around. It solves a decades-old community pain point (liquid locks) with a solution that feels like Klei designed it. If any mod deserves to go vanilla, it’s this one.
