Could you make the Black Hive Jelly from Alpha Animals safe? Good mod

ty for the mod, didnt make sense that it had a 2% (i think off the top of my head) to food poison, but my noble colonists will make a B line for the stuff and love it.

Also undergrounder Ideo "yeah sure we can eat the meat from the insects and absolutely love nutrifungus, but the jelly makes me sick"

"never goes bad" then why are my colonists sick

ok the royal jelly thing isn't working anymore, I just got food poisoning from feeding it to a resting patient

I can confirm that this mod is working in 1.5. It just needs the tag.

Awesome. Been doing a run with a bunch of Hivelings from Alpha Genes and constantly producing insect jelly means that basically every day at least one pawn is suffering from food poisoning. Lame, but your mod at least makes it less annoying. Thanks!

yes, for some reason it making insect jelly unique and i don't think its any overpower. It's hard to get, rich on sugar, why this analog of honey would give any food poisoning? Thanks for making game a bit more senseble

@AuntyDonna, done.
Nishe Jul 24, 2020 @ 9:41am
@SirMashedPotato Is there any chance you could update the mod to patch in the effect for the royal insect jelly from vanilla factions expanded - insectoids? That would be awesome ;)
Nishe Jul 24, 2020 @ 9:39am
@brmatt2077 bruh, you just disallow it on their allowed foods in the assign tab and then use it as an ingredient to cook meals. Or sell it because it's valuable as hell. Don't burn it lol.
Karolus40k Jun 14, 2020 @ 2:20pm
I have to have the insect jelly allowed so I can haul it to a room to burn it because of the food poisoning, but all my colonists insist on eating it and infestations always happen in base expansions. At least now they can not puke all the time.
Nishe Jun 8, 2020 @ 6:57am
@Garr Incorporated Agreed. The mechanic doesn't fit with the in game description at all. "Nourishes any creature, and never rots". If it doesn't rot why does it give food poisoning?
SirMashedPotato  [author] May 13, 2020 @ 12:41pm
@#лучшедома Awiss. I don't see why it shouldn't be, but knowing combat extended it probably isn't.
Awiss May 12, 2020 @ 6:26pm
combat extended compatible???
Garr Incorporated May 10, 2020 @ 11:40pm
Finally. If this thing is so good for every single living being, why does it have a chance to poison someone? Made no sense all the time.
Thank you!
