Centralization will only show up if you have the second (or third, not sure rn) government reform passed

the centralization efforts and decentralization efforts don't show up in my games decisions. is it specific to one "age" or should it show up from the beginning?

@sbmt, there is already a ton of new content, for example a whole eventchain regarding young ladislaus postumus or some new mechanics in the HRE like the golden Bull and a differenciation between the title King or Emperor of the HRE :)
And currently I am working on a total rework of the Mission tree of austria

Yes and after these events there should be an event where if ladislaus rules austria below the enns, you have the possibility to make him your heir. Maybe you need to start a new game because there was a small bug

Yes, there is an event at the end of the whole Ladislaus event chain where, if you hold power over ladislaus, have the possibility to make him your heir

@SchGang: for Historical reasons. Ladislaus was of a different branch of the von habsburgs than Friedrich III, who rules Styria and the HRE. Austria was split into different duchies and most duchies were ruled by these different branches. And thus Ladislaus is the heir of austria above and below the enns, Friedrich just ruled these lands as regent as long as ladislaus was too young. Ladislaus and Friedrich were simply relatives and not father and son as shown in basegame EU4. But you have the possibility to make him your heir if he comes to age. So you can in fact rule over all these lands relatively easy.

why does styria not have ladislau as heir at the start of the game?

Okay thats strange. Styria should show the mission tree from the old project austria hungary mod at least.

But anyways I am working on a completely new mission tree vor Styria and austria. Might however take maybe two or three weeks

got the same problem as polktech i guess^^ I cant find a way to get the ladislaus postumus event chain to work, whatever i choose hes always at the end in charge of bohemia and hungary and i get only 2 events, the bohemian one and the hungarian one

I can only speak english and german. The only thing I could do is to make it so that the translations for other languages are in english but at least show you text.

Well I just saw that it's already in conflict ... "Beyond Typus" makes your mode nonexistent, too bad, it worked before

I just noticed that your future plan is to add provinces. Would it be possible to do this in a different mode? (twin mode). Being a fervent follower of the "Beyond Typus" mode that would necessarily risk coming into conflict.

Actually trying it again and reading through the event files, I think i found out why it doesnt work. The final event putting him in power only checks for AUE (Austria under the enns) to have the flag ladislaus_in_austria which only a very specific event outcome actually sets to AUE. Most of the events place and remove the flag on Styria, but then this flag is never checked for the event unifying austria.

Ohh I always just sent him off to bohemia thinking he would be my heir regardless. But yeah that makes a lot of sense. thanks.

You have to keep ladislaus under your control so you should not let him move to either bohemia or hungary. if Ladislaus stays alive he will become the duke of austria below the enns. then an event should fire where you have the option to make him your heir and if you die he will be in charge of all of austria and you annex all your PUs and can form austria manually

How is the Ladilaus chain supposed to work? If have played the beginning a couple times now, but nothing happens, Ladislaus ends up in charge of Hungary and Bohemia and austria doesnt form.

I am planning a bigger update which will include a break up from austria into several duchies like in real world and will focus on making the whole succession of ladislaus more acurate and also more variable. But I am not sure if I should make it an update or a whole new mod. What did you think? A Update or a new mod?

@TeaseVonAtti yeah that is an idea I had too. I am currently working on different new mechanics for this mod but I think i will focus on editing the whole proclamation of the Empire of Austria or Austria-Hungary. Maybe this month i will reworke it

The mod is interesting but the fact of having to leave the Holy Empire to form the Austrian Empire, Austria-Hungary ... is pretty "void". You really have to play very badly to no longer be the Emperor. Where I am in my part I have to be, my power alone assures me. This therefore prevents me from taking advantage of the mod. You should rather make sure that we are under the obligation to be a great power or something else. Maybe make the proclamation of the Austrian Empire an incident ...

If I remember correctly, you leave the empire after forming AUH, right? This is, because you can't increase your gov rank to empire if you're part of the HRE and nations inside the HRE (with a few exceptions) weren't allowed to form new kingdoms and stuff.
Also, I believe, we decided to include a dead HRE as one of the Empire's founding requirements because it would've made no sense for Austria to ever leave the HRE if it wasn't disbanded and still going strong, just to form their own empire with no real reason behind that.
However, this translates poorly into eu4 mechanics and I can see why it's considered unintuitive.
Maybe you could also instead check if there is another empire is western europe, to kind of simulate the whole Napoleon simulation. :)

@TheJewishGamer Yes that would be an option but I think the requirement that there is no HRE at all is a bit hard because in my nearly 2000 hours in this game the empire was maybe five times dissolved by ai. But the Idea with the empire rank great power is good. Maybe I try something like this in the future. An other idea i recently had was that if you form the austrian empire or austria-hungary it would be impossible to become the emperor of the HRE so you need to consider to either play the HRE-game or become an empire your own.

I was wondering if you could edit the form empire decisions, specifically instead of there being no HRE as a requirement, have it be that either there needs to be an Empire rank country that's considered a great power or no HRE, as the Austrian Empire was declared in responce to Napoleon declaring the French Empire

I got an event where it has "missing localization". The two options are "For Austria. -1 stability" and "We can not afford this right now. nothing happens" Im not sure whats suppose to happen.

hi Quis Machina, I´ve updated the mod and it should work now

im getting crashes when i select the centralization option in the tier 3 reform. I tried loading only this mod and it cashes to desktop.

The mod is now updated. The thing that caused the trubble was the banners mod so I deleted it (for now). So if you want to use the Banners please download one from the workshop.
If any bugs occur please inform me. I am currently in my exam phase and can´t test every feature.

@Mineral I can try to make a version which is compatible with bigger mods like extendet timeline or Albert etc
