one of the best scenarios on the workshop for arma 3, you just gotta appreciate the attention to detail and customization after playing arma for so long

@Morrisons, once again horrible late replay but I'm sure others may be wondering. All I know is he was on disability after a job injury, and could no longer afford to live in his home, which is why he stopped working on the mod (and disappeared entirely). I am unsure as to why he deleted his own mod.

@SoftEnbySam pt.2 It should be noted, even with the AI mods functioning properly (which seek to give them more "human" aim and reactions) the AI can still one tap you at times. This is because the basic Arma AI aim is based off of how "suppressed" they are and how long you have stood relatively still. Ironically, running around like its Call of Duty tends to do much better than camping a building, as you "stillness" will build up and eventually when you look through a window, ect. You will get snap shotted. The only way around this is to use the suppression feature with your AI bots to make sure there spraying the vicinity of the enemy so you can actually pick them off safely. (Stationary machine guns work wonders for this.)

TDLR: make sure nothing is obviously breaking the AI code. Otherwise, this may just be "intentional" behavior by Bohemia.

@SoftEnbySam pt.1, sorry for the horribly late reply, but this tends to be caused by having conflicting AI mods, or CBA mod settings which overwrite the AI settings. Several AI mods are built into the mod so adding more tends to break the AI, and these mods have their code customized, so changing the CBA settings can lead to unpredictable effects.

Holy fuck, all the enemies laser beam you from insane ranges and take 10+ bullets from anything to go down. I'm literally having to use a .50 cal to kill people in a reasonable amount, and even they sometimes take multiple.

Hi Dead, Do you know what has happened to Gerhart? His version is still on GitHub but his website and workshop page are down. Don't know how long its been like that.

Because there is no longer a description of what changes Gerhart made/fixed it might be a good idea to include them in this workshop items description.

Does Anyone know why When I get certain Mods it says generating economy, then just puts me on a island away from the map. I cant Toggle Zeus to teleport me anywhere, is there anyone who can help me.

Are you logged in as an admin before you try to load the mission? For some reason I still can't figure it won't let you load in if your logged into the server as a admin, you need to log out then log back in once your in the mission

@deadorbit do the checkpoints sometimes plant contraband on you? i can drive up to a checkpoint with my inventory completely empty and as they check me a gun pops into my inventory.

My people are having issues with checkpoints. After they fail a checkpoint search and respawn, patrols will continue to shoot them on sight regardless of their wanted status and their equipment. Do you know what might be causing this?

@Morrison, had the same problem. Just shoot them and let your AI loot them. You wont get weapons if AI loots them, if you want weapons you have to loot by yourself. A hint for the problem could be, if an AI of a FOB spawns inside an obstacle the simulations seems to turn off.

Something I just noticed is that friendly AI are completely nonfunctional. They do not respond to commands at all. I am using just the mods your overthrow requires. No AI mods.

hey dead, how you doing? I've come across an issue with FOBs. They no longer show up on the map and when you approach them all the units go enableSimulation false making them impossible to capture as you can kill anyone.

What needs to be changed to make it so the NATO soldiers don't take 700 shots to the head to die? Seem silly they take so much damage, but can one shot you and your own troops. Is there a setting to change?

@emrh That code isn't used to save the legitimacy score, it's actually used to cheat the legimitacy system by straight up giving you 5 free legitimacy score for free.

And wow, there's m1a1 in this game? I haven't reach that point yet. Playing single player. Well if you don't mind, can I join your server? Sent you a friend request.

@Spose, it's actually a hardware store, they sell mostly industrial items for the businesses. Drive a truck near it, then press Y. You should see a buy/sell button

@deadorbit i actually tried to do changes you said i edited fn_selllegitvehicle.sqf file with notepad
and rewritten line 16-17 both server and client side but i cant manage to save my legitimacy score somehow probly i've done something wrong about editing

@alwayshundryleh i am having same taste with this mode you wont belive that but i am able to mass production of ah-64, commanche, m1a1 like other armored vehicles. we tried so hard to capture these vehicles alive and repair them to reverse engineer :)

@deadorbit Yes! That would be a godsend. It's simply just Quality of life improvements for doing businesses since blueprints are so expensive. I like your mod compared to others because the enemies are tough and overwhelming. It's like you're running businesses all day while daydreaming that you will one day fight the big bad boss, but then you're getting stuck because the police are wandering around you and you are transport shy.

Just the ability to transport between containers would be a great help already! Regarding the output and input to separate containers, may I suggest to have an option to 'transfer output' and 'transfer input'? Because I would imagine having two containers would be very confusing to people new to overthrow. Transfer output basically means take out all the output while transfer input means put in all input related to this business.

@always that would be a bit more work than two seperate containers but still very doable, also you deffinitly should be able to transfer legal cargo while spotted, Ill try to edit that

@emrh Yes, it has been expecially annoying. I'm tempted to place machine gun nests all over my businesses just to shoo them away. I've resorted to dropping ammoboxes on their heads for the time being. Luckily I don't have legitimacy loss issue as of yet. Just FYI, it's the independent legitimacy instead of the OpFor.

In the mean time, if you have a pbo editor, you can fix this by finding the file called fn_selllegitvehicle.sqf and editing line 16-17 to be:

"server setVariable [format["legit%1",_side],_legit+0.1,true];
server setVariable [format["standing%1",_faction],(server getVariable [format["standing%1",_faction],0]) + 5,true];"


(without the quotations)
