Report a translation problem
Catching "train approaching" involves adding code that slows down the game, because there is no public event for that. Playing my own sound effects on command, instead of pre-built ones such as bulldozer_large, seems to be barred.
I would love it if you could make this mod customizable.
- The user can copy their own MP3 audio files into the mod folder.
- In-game, via a UI, the user can select a sound for each station and track to play:
When a train is approaching.
When a train's doors open.
When a train's doors close.
This way, I could easily mimic Japanese train stations, which have a "train approaching" melody and a melody when the train departs (with different melody or announcement depending on the line).

If you want new sounds and have some, you can add them yourself, it's a little tidier now so it should be easy.
