@Takao561 No it was actually inspired simply by similar pack-up rides seen at annual fairs around the US and Canada (And Europe I think). The basic ideas is "Disk with swinging pods on the edge", and the ones I've been on can tilt almost vertically. I haven't been on any with rotating base platforms like the Cyclonaut.
